Might make a longer post abt it but one hill I will die on is that Curly was also abused by Jimmy- before the crash and after the crash. Because of our culture of toxic masculinity, Curly probably justified it to himself: Jimmy was just “messing around and having some fun with me, you know- just stuff that guys do.” In the game, Anya and Curly respond to his abuse in different ways. Anya has a fawn response and Curly has a freeze response.
