a good way to inspire yourself to do more is to see yourself as the wacky sitcom B plot character in your friends lives, "wouldnt it be funny to tell the friends in my phone about it." has gotten me to do anything from going to a festival (excelent) to wild camping (it went badly) (coastguard called) to trying to get the train to stonehenge (stonehenge costs money so i ended up just getting lunch in sailsbury, it was okay.) i bought a bicycle today and 20% of my reasoning was "itd be funny to surprise my roommate by coming home with a whole bike." . life is for living. and baby i live for the bit.

My family and I have faced unimaginable challenges due to the ongoing conflict in our homeland.
My father, Samir Siamβ€πΉ, and I have become without a source of income, and we cannot even afford to buy a morsel of food. I used to work at a petrol station to support my family, but the current circumstances have made it impossible to continue. Despite everything, I am determined to complete my studies and pursue a career in programming, but my familyβs urgent needs have become a heavy burden.
My familyβs priority now is my mother's healthβ₯πΉππ».We urgently need assistance to provide her with proper medical treatment, along with basic necessities like food, water, and shelter. My dream is not only to secure my future through education but also to ensure my family can survive these difficult times.

hi everyone, mahmoud (@hillesmahmoud) has reached out to me and asked me to share his story with you all. mahmoud has been living as a refugee in belgium for 7 years. this, unfortunately, means that he has been separated from his wife and four beautiful children for this long, even missing the birth of his youngest child. additionally, his wife suffers from kidney issues and had to have her left kidney removed before the war.
now, his wife and children have been enduring genocide for 11 months without him. he is forced to worry every day for the safety and of his family who he hasn't seen in years from thousands of miles away. in addition, his wife has been suffering due a lack of medical infrastructure due to her need for treatment for her kidney. mahmoud is haunted by the possibility of her succumbing to her illness and leaving his children orphaned and displaced.
as of september 4th, β¬24,988 / β¬37,000 has been raised to evacuate mahmoud's family to egypt and fund treatment for his wife. additionally, his fundraiser is verified by nabulsi here. any amount you're able to donate, even just β¬5, makes a difference. if you're unable to donate, please reblog or otherwise share mahmoud's story and fundraiser so that he may see a day where he and his family are safely and happily reunited.

Hello, I am Dina, I am 25 years old, I have two children, I gave birth to my child during the war, under bombing and genocide. I support my children and my children have become without a place or security. My daughter is 2 years old and my son is 3 months old, I gave birth to him under bombing and no medical care for me and my child.
My children need basic needs such as milk and food. I currently live in a tent after I lost my home due to the occupation and I cannot tell you what life is like there. It is like hell. Very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. In addition, there are insects and snakes. It is suffering. I want my children to live and be able to survive. Save them from the war and provide them with their needs of clothes and food. I have been displaced several times, and every time I was escaping death and bombing amidst the screams of my children so that I could get them out of Gaza to a safer place, so I ask you to extend a helping hand to save them from death and so that my heart does not break or something bad happens to them. Help me with support and participation, and I thank everyone who has provided support for my children.

fidaa is a 29 year old woman from gaza with two very young children, muhammed and sila, one of whom was born during the war. her home was destroyed and sheβs been displaced many times, and is currently separated from the rest of her family- her husband, her many siblings, and her parents. i can only imagine how nerve-wracking this is.
sheβs doing her best to take care of her children by herself, despite facing hunger, thirst, widespread disease, and the threat of death. the other day, there was intense bombing near her and another family close to her was killed. life in gaza right now is hell and she told me they feel like they are just waiting for their turn to die.
fidaa and i talk often, and i feel lucky to know her. sheβs an incredibly strong person, she travels long distances to find limited supplies for her kids and helps her siblings raise money even though shes separated from them.
but she needs help. the situation in gaza is so bad right now, the idf is preventing aid from entering and the food, water, and medicine available are extremely expensive. please share and donate to help her and her children survive and eventually leave gaza
