I hate when people casually discuss superheroes because I’m sitting in the corner with KNOWLEDGE and OPINIONS but I just have to smile and be like “haha yeah I like superman too” so I don’t scare anyone

It saddens me to see so little word of the upcoming movie Crazy Rich Asians. I know that people find it cliché, but how is it any different from all the kdramas I’ve seen everyone raving over for YEARS? This movie is such a groundbreaking moment for Asians, particularly Asian Americans, and it’s quite disappointing to me that people only speak of Asians when kpop or anime or any of those overly used stereotypes are relevant.

Not saying that everyone has to watch it or support it, but I just want to shed some light on this upcoming movie for those who aren’t aware of it!
