I can't stress enough how much I miss StumbleUpon
there's no way this hasn't been done yet but come on, she is the epitome of this tweet
Today's birds are this Purple Martin family living in pipes that support anti-bird fencing at my local fish hatchery.
I have a terrible memory and haven't watched RWBY since Vol 9 ended. Did anything happen between Blake and Yang that was remarkable?
Here's an example from other ships: Aneela x Kendry – Aneela slaughtered hullen to find Kendry, Aneela tortured Gander for Kendry, Kendry carried and raised Aneela’s child, Aneela shared her green with Kendry to make her immortal again, they rule Qresh together Adora x Catra – They kept each other alive in the Horde, Catra sacrificed herself to save Glimmer for Adora, Adora rescued Catra from Horde Prime, Adora used her magic to bring Catra back from the dead, they saved the universe with their love
I know Yang lost her arm but I don't know if it was something she did for Blake and I know the punderstorm created the platform and bridge so they could confess their love but I don't know whether to include that because it wasn't something either of them did.
Okay so basically they're partners. Blake chose Yang as her partner, and Yang is a parallel to Adam, her previous lover and partner too, a better version of him, which is very interesting: to see the fact that Yang was a character foil to Adam from the start. It makes her dynamic with Blake very interesting. Yang is also a person with huge abandonment issues, so her Love Interest being a girl who thought of herself as toxic and ran away because of that makes their dynamic very interesting and complex. And then there's what happened in volume 3 during the Battle of Beacon is that Blake separated from Weiss and ended up confronting Adam, you know, her abusive ex boyfriend. Adam kept guiltripping her as you know and told her that he would make it his mission to destroy everything Blake loved. Then Yang, who'd talked to Weiss and was searching for Blake, showed up calling for her. Adam saw the way Blake looked at her, connected the dots and said he was gonna start by destroying Yang. Then he stabbed Blake to get Yang's attention and Yang went red eyed and jumped to defend Blake with no second thoughts telling Adam to get away from her. Then Adam takes his chance and cut Yang's arm off. Would've killed her, too, if Blake hadn't rushed to get the both of them out of there —while being wounded herself. So, basically, kinda yeah. Yang lost her arm trying to protect Blake and that gut cut her arm off out of jealousy and because he wanted to torment Blake. Cue Blake leaving because she felt guilty, coming back two volumes later after both she and Yang went through interesting character arcs and them trying to rebuild their relationship throughout all v6, and then fighting Adam again, together, and ending him. Some of their biggest moments yeah. That and when Yang fell in v8 and Blake failed to catch her and thought she'd lost her and called out Yang's name and fucking lost it having to be held back by Weiss from jumping too and then immediately trying to kill Neo with zero hesitation since she was the one who pushed Yang. They have some very remarkable and memorable moments.
Also, their eyes are canonically the color of each other's soul so it's fucking cute
Many SkyWings live in these towers, which are large and have rooms that spiral upwards. The flowering tops of the buildings collect rain, all the water runs down the centre of the tower where the residents can collect it and then it runs out into the mountains below. The tops of the buildings also serve as meeting places.
The nest—every building in the sky kingdom will have a "nest," a place where birds are protected and housed. A birdkeeper is responsible for protecting and researching birds. They are travelers and a tight-knit community. Every full moon, they gather to discuss bird behavior, habitat, the current status of the species, and any other information.
we need to bring back shows about four women who are friends again so badly. like for the culture.
Cats and small kids are curious about what you're doing in much of the same way. Sometimes when you seem to be up to something, they want to see what it is. If you try to keep a cat from sniffing something to find out what it is, they'll keep insisting, louder and louder, "let me sniff, let me sniff, LET ME SNIFF, LET ME SNIFF!!" until you do.
And then they sniff at it for two seconds and go "oh, oooh. Now I get it. Don't care" and wander off. But the demand to know will remain for as long as the thing is kept from them.
This one time when I was in nursing school, I had a training period in a kindergarten. One day I was chatting with one of the workers, telling her about this one time when I was in Kentucky due to my boyfriend at the time living there, and I saw this huge locally native spider-
And then I got interrupted by this one specific kid - a four-year-old boy who had taken a liking to me, sharp as hell and never missed a single thing. Looking at me with a deeply baffled, wide-eyed frown that kids that age do when Shit Does Not Add Up, he asked me: Boyfriend? If you're a boy, why did you have a boyfriend?
Not sure what else to say, I just shrugged and said that it happens sometimes, sometimes men fall in love with men or women fall in love with women. And I could practically observe in real time as his confusion disappeared in a blink, as this previously completely unfathomable piece of information entered his brain, was swiftly processed, and instantly filed into "boring grownup shit that I don't care about". He only had one follow-up question:
"What happened to the spider?"
