If you're tired of the usual vices like arrogance or impatience, here are some unique (or at least less basic) character flaws to give your perfect characters:
Pathological Altruism
A character so obsessed with helping others that they end up doing more harm than good. Their inability to let others grow or face consequences creates tension.
2. Moral Narcissism
A character who sees themselves as morally superior to others, constantly justifying selfish or harmful actions because they believe they have the moral high ground.
3. Chronic Self-Sabotage
A character who intentionally undermines their own success, perhaps due to deep-seated feelings of unworthiness, pushing them into frustrating, cyclical failures.
4. Emotional Numbness
Rather than feeling too much, this character feels too little. Their lack of emotional response to critical moments creates isolation and makes it difficult for them to connect with others.
5. Fixation on Legacy
This character is obsessed with how they’ll be remembered after death, often sacrificing present relationships and happiness for a future that’s uncertain.
6. Fear of Irrelevance
A character-driven by the fear that they no longer matter, constantly seeking validation or pursuing extreme measures to stay important in their social or professional circles.
7. Addiction to Novelty
Someone who needs constant newness in their life, whether it’s experiences, relationships, or goals. They may abandon projects, people, or causes once the excitement fades, leaving destruction in their wake.
8. Compulsive Truth-Telling
A character who refuses to lie, even in situations where a lie or omission would be the kinder or more pragmatic choice. This flaw causes unnecessary conflict and social alienation.
9. Over-Identification with Others' Pain
Instead of empathy, this character feels others' pain too intensely, to the point that they can’t function properly in their own life. They’re paralyzed by the suffering of others and fail to act effectively.
10. Reluctant Power
A character who fears their own strength, talent, or influence and is constantly trying to shrink themselves to avoid the responsibility or consequences of wielding it.

Quick reminder that it's always morally correct to punch nazis.
(This is all a joke)
I love the Dick is pushing thirty and all the Batkids tease him about it and he’s dramatic. But what’s infinitely funnier is in the Robin story (the one illustrated by piccolo) Dick looks young enough to go undercover as a student in highschool.
Which means that Dick with a little bit of effort can pass for 17-19
Which means Jason ‘drawn like a 40 year old whose doing 20 to life in prison built like a brick shithouse’ Todd
Definitely looks older at 23 than Dick does at 27
And so the boys get their licks in and Dick does his howls moving castle let me lie on a bed dramatically like an 18th century women fainting
Calls Kori like ‘babe be honest am I too old for you, do I need Botox? HAVE YOU SEEN A GRAY HAIR PLEASE’ on speaker in front of the Batkids because honestly it’s a funny joke.
And then they go to a bar
And Dick gets ID checked
At 27
He’s been a hero for 19 years
He just got fucking ID checked at the bar
And then when they get into the bar
Jason gets called sir
And he gets called Dude
Because he looks barley legal apparently
And that’s even fucking worse
How is it everyone can laugh at him for being old and HE DOESNT EVEN GET OLD MAN PERKS.
HE HAS OLD MAN BONES, THEY SOUND LIKE HE NEEDS WD-40 (what do you mean that because of the 23 years of intense acrobatics and the 19 years of punching People, and carpel tunnel inducing precision shut up)
And Jason finds it even funnier until dick desperately asks how old the barkeep thinks he is and the dude goes like “idk 21? Barely”
And Jay laughs until the dude went “yeah I mean you look like a kid whose uncle is taking him here for his first drink”
And Jason cuts the laugh mid HA and goes “excuse me?”
Anyway now Dick if finding it funny again
It stops being funny all together when he’s the only one to get ID’d on Tims 21st birthday
Because Tim is 4’0 (it’s only a 3 INCH HEIGHT DIFFERENCE dICK)
And has baby fat on his cheeks at 21 and he can still pitch his voice into an androgynous or fem voice.
(Tim paid the bar keep to do this, he’s stirring shit)
This is for all you awkward socializers out there. The ones who crave connection, want to interact, but are so damn confused by it, or so intimidated by it, you never reach out first.
Or, if you do, you feel like the other person's just humoring you. Just giving the polite answers until you leave them alone. You read each interaction with that bored/slightly annoyed tone. That "I don't wanna be rude, but gawd, just leave me alone already so I can talk with the people I want to talk to" tone.
You know the one.
And then you curse your awkwardness, you withdraw and stop interacting. And when no one else reaches out to you (maybe because they too feel that awkward intimidation, but that doesn't occur to you, they're so outgoing! they're so confident! they're so cool!) you convince yourself that maybe you just weren't meant to have friends. No one seems to notice you're quieter than usual. Maybe you should just stop trying.
Maybe they think you're the rude one. You never meant to be rude, you're just so damn bad at doing this friend thing. How much interaction is too much? Are you smothering or aloof? Where's the line? Are you coming off funny and engaging, or loud and annoying? OMG you don't want to be that person that others hate even thinking about!
And on and on your thoughts swirl, micro-analyzing everything, and making you feel like every single interaction you've ever had was one-sided, that everyone you've ever spoken to forgot you the moment the conversation ended. That you are so forgettable that no one would notice if you just . . . stopped. Just disappeared. No one would notice. No one would care.
I see you, fellow socially awkward friends.
There is so much bad in the world. So many horrible things on grand and smaller scales on people's lives. It's hard to keep things in perspective. Everyone has their own trials, their own hardships that others may know nothing about. I try to keep that in mind. But I sometimes fall into my own head, letting the negative thoughts drag me under for a while.
So here's a hug for everyone who has those moments. Those fears. Those frustrations and feelings of sadness and loneliness. You are (ironically) not alone. 💖💕
I have nearly drowned 2 times and had the threat of drowning 1 time.
One of the near drowning things wasn't even in water, I wiped out while skiing and was twisted in a way that my face was stuck in the slushy snow :')
The other time I was in a big sail boat, it capsized and the sail rope (cant remember what its called but the rope that makes the sail move) got caught around my ankle and I was stuck for a bit.
The threat was because I have severe scoliosis so had corrective surgery and afterwards my surgeon said that if I didn't do some vigorous breathing exercises to strengthen it back up (after being half crushed by my ribs) then I would drown in my own fluids.
So now I have a solid fear of drowning :D
it's so weird to me that everyone on this website is a human person outside of their weird internet niche so rb this with a random bit of your lore
Some Wayne gala fits for the boys! I saw something similar by @fallen-jpg and wanted to do some of my own lol
Ps… I’m not good with backgrounds lol and I made Damian much older cause I didn’t want to draw a kid …
straigbt up "under it" and by "it" well lets jusr say, my blankeys
Why the fuck does "womanizer" mean what it does, that shit sounds like the name of an instant sex change ray gun invented by some guy who has beef with a platypus.
see the THING IS I don't feel like I ever worked hard enough to have "earned" the burnout, which is. probably how we got here.
