“Be curious about what you’re writing about” is not stock Common Writing Advice but it really, really should be. There are a lot of written works that fail due to the authors just being obviously incurious about what they are writing about.
See, ok, I'm having a bit of a problem here. I have a fruity four!New Girl AU I've been meaning to write, the first chapter has been out and about for a year now and I really want to continue it, but it just isn't coming to me.
So I've been thinking of making it a podcast/podfic sort of thing? Imagine Surviving Hawkins, but with my story, essentially. I know for a fact that a script format would be easier for me while writing it and I have been meaning to get back into audio editing.

vampire!nancy and her strange courtship to robin <3
(they went on a blind date and nancy crushed so hard on robin, she revealed her fangs cause she thought robin would dig it. robin, in fact, did but only after panicking for her dear life)

I finally (!!!) finished the scene outlines for my criminal minds fic! All in all, it has 39 scenes (I know)! Meeting up with one of my friends and possible betas (have to ask him first) to see what can and can't be cut out.
Which means tomorrow is the first day of writing the actual fic! I hope and pray this will be ready in time, I have a plan on when I want to post it, but it all depends on me, which means it'll be a toss up.
i find it rather ironic how people are reducing the adolescence mini series to "was jamie a sociopath" and "did katie bully jamie", when the whole point of the show is how the manosphere and the alt-right pipeline is so violent and omnipresent on social medias that a 13 year-old boy who loved to draw and learn about the industrial revolution ends up thinking that women are worthless pieces of meat and that he's "one of the good ones" because he didn't rape katie, he just stabbed her to death.
