I am actually obsessed with dogday and catnap that i want to eat myself.
I am gonna be insane actually. The potential they have is so infinite, it's crazy.
I have little headcanons or ideas about them, it's crazy. Maybe I am gonna share it here one day.
I'm onto something I'm telling you

(well, second-favorite, secret shanghai’s ships are all tying for first place for me)
There’s something so beautiful about how two halves of the same thing, after losing all memory of being the Pearls themselves, managed to find each other again. Ao Bing and Nezha are soulmates in the purest sense. They quite literally complete each other.
We see it in their personalities too, Ao Bing’s utter and complete obedience (as we see in the first movie) versus Nezha’s utter lack of respect to anyone ever, but especially his elders, the people that Ao Bing, in his position, would have obeyed without question.
We see it when Nezha tells Ao Bing that they are too young to fear and when Ao Bing believes him. They compliment each other like soulmates are meant to. They build each other up. Nezha was the one that made Ao Bing dream. Ao Bing was the one who made Nezha believe the world didn’t have to have a place for him.
When Nezha was younger, we saw him desperately try to ‘play’ with everyone around him, even though he only caused destruction and pain. Then he meets Ao Bing, his very first friend, and then he starts to believe that the world doesn’t have to have a place for him so long as he has a friend.
Going back to the last lines of Nezha 2–“Because we are too young. Too young to fear.”—it’s actually something quite different. As another post explained, what it truly means is that they ‘don’t know how high the sky is and how thick the ground is’. This saying just means that the target of it is naïve, young, stupid.
And Ao Bing and Nezha certainly are young—their mortal bodies at least. They’re physically three years old. But the Chaos Pearl was an ancient thing, created centuries ago at least. And Ao Bing and Nezha certainly aren’t naïve or stupid. They’ve encountered so much pain. Ao Bing’s worldview was completely flipped upside down. Nezha almost sacrificed himself.
So what is Nezha saying, then? He’s telling Ao Bing that they have to still be naïve and stupid. He’s saying that they have to try to change the world, however stupid it might be, and echo of the sentiment he told Ao Guang a little bit ago.
How does that tie into my soulmate point? Well, who could understand how impossibly old Nezha was, while also being so young and naïve, if not Ao Bing? Who could understand his desire to change the world if not another outcast, if not Ao Bing?
They understand each other. They complete each other. And that’s why OuBing is, like, the greatest ship of all time.
Ramadan Mubarak everyone! 🌙💕
