If you call pedophilia a kink please unfollow me and never talk to me again
@anoncharli3 honestly, imagine posting amiright
I have a specific day of the week when I like to post fic and wondered if this is true for other writers as well. By posting, I mean publishing anything new on AO3 or a similar site, whether it's a complete work or a chapter update.
If you would share this with other fic writers, I would be grateful for the larger sample size!
Day 16/20, 6th October, 2023 – Friday
Had my tuition class test today... was not good. In my defense though, I didn't have time to prepare due to my school tests.
Day 5/20, 25th September, 2023 – Monday
So. I can't exactly remember what I did on Monday (I should really start strictly following everything I said I would smh), but I did go to my tuition/coaching class. We had zoology and physics. Now, in zoology, we were doing muscle contractions and how they work. I need to go over my notes again, because though I understand it, I need to make sure I understand the whole process. And I would've have physics class, but I'd missed a test on Saturday, so I had to write that instead (two of my classmates were writing it alone in a separate room without an invigilator, so you can imagine what happened). Either way, at least it wasn't a total waste of a day again.
Sorry, I know I'm late, but here I am!!! Happy New Year to everyone reading this, I hope 2024 treats us all better <33
Last year wasn't the best for me, but I plan on making the most of this year. So here's a couple things I'm trying to change, my resolutions, if you will:
Drink more water
Get at least 75% in every exam I attempt
Try and finish all assignments one day before the due date
Try and maintain a sleep pattern; sleep by about 11:30 and wake up at 5:00
Keep a track of my progress
Update my planner/diary every week, at least (also in order to keep track of my progress)
Alongside that, another thing I'm trying out is planning out every deadline and exam I have for the month, which is what this is:
I'm also going to try and use the Reminders app as often as I can so that I can tick off work I've finished before moving on; I also have a notebook for this, but since I work on my laptop I figure it would be easier to keep a track of it here.
Either way, I'm going to try my best to try and stick to my resolutions for this year, if anyone else has made any I wish you the best of luck too!! Let's make 2024 our year, guys, we've got this!

One of my biggest nitpicks in fiction concerns the feeding of babies. Mothers dying during/shortly after childbirth or the baby being separated form the mother shortly after birth is pretty common in fiction. It is/was also common enough in real life, which is why I think a lot of writers/readers don't think too hard about this. however. Historically, the only reason the vast majority of babies survived being separated from their mother was because there was at least one other woman around to breastfeed them. Before modern formula, yes, people did use other substitutes, but they were rarely, if ever, nutritionally sufficient.
Newborns can't eat adult food. They can't really survive on animal milk. If your story takes place in a world before/without formula, a baby separated from its mother is going to either be nursed by someone else, or starve.
It doesn't have to be a huge plot point, but idk at least don't explicitly describe the situation as excluding the possibility of a wetnurse. "The father or the great grandmother or the neighbor man or the older sibling took and raised the baby completely alone in a cave for a year." Nope. That baby is dead I'm sorry. "The baby was kidnapped shortly after birth by a wizard and hidden away in a secret tower" um quick question was the wizard lactating? "The mother refused to see or touch her child after birth so the baby was left to the care of the ailing grandfather" the grandfather who made the necessary arrangements with women in the neighborhood, right? right? OR THAT GREAT OFFENDER "A newborn baby was left on the doorstep and they brought it in and took care of it no issues" What Are You Going to Feed That Baby. Hello?
Like. It's not impossible, but arrangements are going to have to be made. There are some logistics.
It means a lot to me that when people send heart emojis, they have a specific color/style they use. And heart they choose to use seems to really reflect that persons personality and how they love.
Actually, do me a favor. Reblog this with the hearts you typically use.
