Arthur knew he was dying, but still, a small smile played on his lips as he thought of what he’d been able to do in his final days and hours. He’d tried his best to be a good man, in the end; to help those who needed helping, to try to undo some of the bad things he’d done in his life, to stand up to Dutch when he lost his way and became someone that Arthur didn’t recognise anymore. But most importantly of all, he’d done everything possible to help the people he loved.

Arthur waits to die on a cold, Ambarino mountain, but he didn’t figure on a best friend with a gut feeling he refused to ignore. Given an unexpected second chance, Arthur has to think about moving on from his past, and living a different kind of life.

Charles knew that there was some sort of darkness brewing inside of Arthur. He thought that maybe he needed some time alone, but that just drew Charles closer to Arthur. Too close for comfort. But there wasn’t much to be done when it turns out that Dutch’s new golden boy Micah Bell abuses Arthur at every turn under Dutch’s nose.
