i’m more than a little late, but better late than never- here is the requested set up for my bullet journal! :)
NOTEBOOK / PENS NOTEBOOK: Moleskine Classic Notebook: (Large, Plain, Black, Hard Cover) (my pages are a little messed up bc i spilled water in my backpack and it soaked into my journal :( ) other notebook recommendations: Baron Fig Confidant Dot-grid (i use this as my other journal) COLORED PENS: Staedler Triplus Fineliners BRUSH PENS (not pictured): Tombow Dual Brush Pens BLACK PENS: Delistar Black 0.5 Gel Pen
MONTHLY SPREAD LEFT HAND PAGE: important reminders for the month, or notetaking / ideas for a project that i’ll be working on for the whole month (ex. january: new years resolutions, november: united night praise set planning) RIGHT HAND PAGE: calendar, gridded out w/ pencil first and then written in w/ pen, then i number the days down vertically, where i put major events / plans in by date, marked in color according to the legend. right hand column contains monthly to-dos / reminders monthly spread page is indicated by a purple sticky that hangs out
WEEKLY SPREAD DAILY SET UP: month/day, day of the week, water consumption (8 grey circles), thought of the day (i like to look back on them), and daily tasks WEEKLY GOALS/TO DO: things that have to be done in the general week, as opposed to any specific day, will usually move to a day once i figure out planning for the week
LABELLING I use skinny colored Post-it stickies to help tab off important pages / pages of the same topic, but washi tape works just as well
READING LIST a list of books to read in the upcoming year, once i finish, and new one is started. this one is in the front of my journal (haven’t been making a very big dent in it b/c too much reading for lit / school but i’m trying!! :P)

the part that leaves you at your desk at midnight with a raging headache. the part that leaves you pulling your hair out while trying to finish a topic. the part that leaves your mind aching from having to cram as much material into it. the part that leaves your heart hurting from all the pressure you’re putting on yourself.
learning is a joy, i love it and i know how blessed i am to receive all these opportunities at such a young age. but god damn i am so exhausted.
