In my stories, Damian is the key figure that drives Talia towards a decision. For so many years she’d been towing the line between Good and Evil. Her lover or her father. But when Damian is born, neither of those things matter as much as making sure her child is okay. It’s why she makes the difficult decision of sending him away.
