Will I stop making Lancewain banners? No, I don't think I will. Actually, I think I will make even more images for this ship, bc really, I love them
Okay then, this is the drawing I did as a test for the Weeping monk's face. The drawing isn't that good because I'm not very good at drawing faces and also because it's a test drawing so I wasn't that worried about how well it would turn out or not.
The proportions are wrong; the eyes are the wrong shape and have no pupils, and the tears are worse; the mouth looks weird; I don't like the beard; he's bald; It's definitely one of the drafts I liked the least, but I'll let it go because I did it at dawn surviving on coffee.
It was at an independent burger joint in my city, my older brother paid. This is a bacon burger, I've never been so happy to eat a burger.
Oh Lancelot, loved by the king, loved by the queen
Another Arthuriana idea I had for a while. Guinevere design is much inspired by William de Leftwich Dodge illustration
It seems wrong that Bors is only a year younger. But it would be even more wrong if Hector and Bors were the older ones. One time I read a fic with this and I automatically stopped reading the fic, it was too much for me.
In my opinion, Lionel is the oldest, Bors is two or three years younger, Lancelot is either a year younger than Bors or they are the same age, and Hector is a quarter to two years younger than Lancelot. And they're all autistic.
Lionel and Bors only being a year apart in age feels wrong

I can't decide on a favorite, I love the Vulgate circle, it has so much violence that it's almost comical, but I also love Diu Crone and the latin circles too. I simply can't decide which one is my favorite among all the circles.
I don't want to and I won't choose. They are all my favorites 😌
Fun little thing about medieval medicine.
So there’s this old German remedy for getting rid of boils. A mix of eggshells, egg whites, and sulfur rubbed into the boil while reciting the incantation and saying five Paternosters. And according to my prof’s friend (a doctor), it’s all very sensible. The eggshells abrade the skin so the sulfur can sink in and fry the boil. The egg white forms a flexible protective barrier. The incantation and prayers are important because you need to rub it in for a certain amount of time.
It’s easy to take the magic words as superstition, but they’re important.
