so, let's look at the facts.
the best game of 2020 (hades) was made by supergiant, a company that at the very least actively tries to reduce crunch and make sure their employees have reasonable schedules.
the simultaneously most hyped up and most disappointing game of the year (cyberpunk 2077) was undeniably rushed when it wasn't ready yet, and the crunch actively caused it to be shitty.
i feel like theres a pretty obvious lesson here, one that has never been demonstrated more clearly. i'd say the lesson is almost *too* obvious if this weren't real life
cant wait for the games industry to totally ignore that lesson
