This is so good! I hope to see more in the future.
so uhhh I don’t normally get the Animatic Urge, but for some reason I really wanted to do this little bit from 6-37! there’s not really a punchline or anything, I just…inexplicably felt like drawing this scene (by which I mean the first little bit of this scene, minus a few lines for ~streamlining~ and the sake of not spending forever on it).
it was gonna be just for me but, eh, it’s hardly the most pointless thing I’ve ever posted, now you can enjoy(?) it too! 👍
I would love for a short fanfic series or oneshot where Dragon Mc’s getting flirted/courted by both Malleus & Leona. This concept sounds like its riddled with drama & I’M HERE FOR IT!
plot twst (hehe), dragon y/n falls for Leona
You are absolutely insane, my good sir. And I love you for it 💕
Yes, I made this shitty edit. No, I’m not giving y’all the context for this.
AGFJAWEFWPIFGAWOFNEAW! SO FREAKIN’ CUTE! <3
Imagine what it’s like to kiss Malleus Draconia…
How when you first asked him to kiss you, Malleus chuckled. Not mockingly or jokingly, but out of pure delight. Did you know how adorable and endearing you were? Or how much you made his heart soar? When others would avoid him or fear him—you, the love of his life, just asked for a kiss. He was more than happy to; cupping your cheek so tenderly before placing his lips ever so lightly on yours. It was chaste, gentle, and even fleeting, as you both wished for more.
How when he’s feeling particularly touch starved Malleus will hold onto your hand; playing with your fingers, brushing your soft skin with the pad of his thumb, tracing the lines in your palm so lightly it almost tickles you. He smiles, almost completely lost in thought as he pulls your hand towards him, kissing your knuckles, your palm, and each and every pad of your finger. It’s tender, sweet, and even playful when his lips ghost the sensitive skin enough that it can even raise a giggle out of you.
How when you’re cuddling close to him, wrapped tightly in his strong, warm arms that he’ll nestle his head into you as best he can, gripping you so tightly that it’s like he’s afraid you’re some distant dream that he’ll wake up from. Malleus presses kisses all along your shoulder blades, going up your neck and across your jaw—they’re almost desperate as he kisses every inch of you he can reach before he finally buries his head into the crook of your neck.
How when Malleus and you say “hello” or “goodbye”, each and every time he’ll lean down enough that you can meet his bright green eyes. He’ll grab your hand to press a kiss on your knuckles, then move onto your forehead—lingering there longer than normal, the feeling of his lips upturning into a small smile as he inhales your scent, and admires the warmth of your skin. It’s a ritual; like a token of good luck, or a reminder that you’ll see each other again soon.
How when you fall asleep near him; having stayed up way longer than you should have, that he’ll take note of how peaceful you look. Admiring the softness of your features, the calmness of your expression—Malleus’ heart warmed by the sheer thought that you trusted him so much that you fell asleep. He’ll pick you up, brushing the hair from your head as he gently places you somewhere more comfortable, pulling a blanket over you as he presses one long, feather light kiss onto the tip of your nose.
How when he’s desperate for you, he’ll start off by kissing your neck, going up quickly to your jaw, your chin, the corners of your lips before your lips both finally meet. It’s lust filled yet romantic, slow yet fast, intense yet passionate—every emotion all swirled into one as his lips move against yours, almost like a fiery dance that doesn’t miss a step. Malleus will move up and down your neck, light bites peppered across your skin and on your swollen lips. Kisses that leave you breathless and weak at the knees.
Kissing Malleus is like a kiss in an old movie. It’s old fashioned, complex, passionate, and something that can completely sweep your off of your feet in a moment’s notice. They’re longing and desperate—so full of love that you’re quite sure you could burst. They’re hypnotizing; almost so addicting that you’re constantly craving more.
Kissing Malleus is perfect; a kiss so full of love that it feels like it could only happen once in a lifetime.
A/N: Okay I am so desperately in love with this man that I’m sure I’m projecting, but I HAD to do something tender and romantic for him and dkjfhkdhf I almost wanted to cry when I started writing it. Ugh, why can’t he be real 😭 I am planning to do something like this for Azul next, but I’m open to more suggestions for characters if anyone has any! Now…brb while I go imagine all of this myself and have my heart burst 🖤 also this isn’t edited because I wrote it in a random burst of inspiration, whoops

Here's a fan art of an older Malleus that I found.
How do you imagine an older king Malleus?
Wtf, I'm about to cry now!
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! I was legit surprised when you turned my idea into an entire fanfic. Also, I love Myza now.
In which Malleus introduces (Y/n) to his fiancee, who promptly grows fond of (Y/n) to the point where she and Malleus are fighting over who is a better friend to (Y/n).
Idea by @azureflame.
"Lady Myza, this is—" Malleus began, but was interrupted when the tall fae next to him broke away from his side and just swooped you up in one motion.
"A human! You have a human friend—?" she cried out happily while holding you hostage in her boa-like grip. Overwhelmed, you tried to wiggle out of her arms, but her hold on you only tightened when you began struggling. Soon, your legs that hung uselessly over the ground went limp, much to Malleus' concern. His fiancee would have none of it, only continuing to press her cheek against yours, a sign of affection from her kind — the serpent fae. "You never told me that your friend is so small and squishy and oh... just so very adorable..."
It was only when you mustered up enough energy and willpower to tap on her shoulders that she realised she might have used too much force. Now concerned, too, when she gazed upon your unusually pale face, she gently lowered you to the ground again. You wheezed and gasped for sweet air, your hands resting on your trembling knees.
Despite your near death experience, you still managed to smile up at her, straining your neck while doing so. "Thank you?" There was an unsure twinge to your voice as her purple eyes bore down at you in such an intense way that you almost forgot how to breathe for a moment. "I'm (Y/n)!"
Your friendliness made her chuckle in amusement, covering her mouth like it was custom for nobles to do. It was only then that you managed to get a better look at the imposing girl who was almost as tall as Malleus. The deep-purple dress she wore was decorated with all sorts of feathers, giving it an over-the-top look — but you had to admit that she could rock it without a doubt. As if the feathers on her dress weren't enough, she even had some tucked into her extravagant hairdo.
"I am delighted to make your acquaintance!" she cheered eventually with such vigour that you almost yelped in surprise. It looked like she was about to shoot forward and envelop you in another hug again, but her fiance luckily stopped her from almost killing you again. So, with a sheepish smile on her lips, she merely curtsied and flashed you a charming grin. "I am Myza Amaru, a noble from the Valley of Thorns. How I wish I wasn't though... you see, I was born in another kingdom far away— where it was actually warm and the weather was delightful to say the least..."
Malleus quirked an eyebrow when you began laughing at her words. "Our weather isn't that bad, is it?" he asked, maybe a little bit offended.
Myza scoffed and flicked her slender wrist in a nonchalant way. Despite her vice grip, her limbs looked weak and rather bony on first glance. When she shook her head in an energetic way, her large blue earrings moved with her. "It is very horrible when you start moping about your 'Child of Man', Malleus..." she shot back, her arms crossed in amusement. "I do not wish to live in a kingdom where murderous green lightning bolts and angry thunder might appear at a whim's notice."
Your lips were pulled up into a giant smile by then. You found her humour to be golden and barely could hold back the laughter that was already threatening to spill out of your throat — you only held it in for your dear dragon fae friend, as a matter of courtesy. Speaking of him, he looked quite embarrassed and aghast as his fiancee spoke of such things so freely, causing tension to soon rise up.
To dispel it, you offered your arm out to the tall girl — a comical sight to possible witnesses. "Well, how about I show you around campus, Lady Myza?" you asked as she eagerly wrapped her long fingers around your lower arm.
Myza began giggling like a little school-girl, blushing like one, too. "Oh, you need not address me in such a formal tone!" she cooed while giving your head a little pat, as one would treat their pet or perhaps a child that one adored. "All friends of Malleus are my own!"
Then, leaving behind a perplexed Malleus, Myza pulled you off into the distance and asked you to explain all sorts of things — from simple plants to complex oil paintings — just to hear your adorable voice.
•••
After your wonderful tour of school grounds — despite the awful weather that plagued you throughout it, and everyone knew who the perpetrator was with the furious green lightning bolts — Myza was now wandering through campus, her analytical purple eyes scanning the area for a certain student. It was a cat that you had described to her, with grey fur and blue fire coming from his ears.
And it was soon that she found her subject napping underneath a large tree, where he originally had sought shelter from the horrible weather that had now cleared up after a certain mage was allowed to spend time with his dear human.
Myza grinned, her face pulled into a frightening grimace, as she stepped in front of the cat. Her presence alone was enough to wake the poor being from his peaceful slumber, and he bolted upright. Once he found a shadow looming over him, his wide blue eyes slowly trailed upward until his eyes met striking purple ones.
"Grim, is that what they call you?"
Still busy rubbing the sleepiness out of his eyes, Grim replied, "Yes, that's me." His ears were raised high in alarm, and he narrowed his eyes at the suspicious fae he had never seen before. It was only a few moments after meeting her that he realised what immense power she radiated. "Woah, you're scary..."
Myza giggled, and her frightening aura disappeared for a brief moment. "I don't think I'm scary," she cooed, although that sweet side of her soon was replaced by that scary one again when she rubbed her palms against one another, a scheming grin on her lips. "Aside from maybe being the third most powerful mage in Twisted Wonderland~"
Grim's jaw fell down. "That's impressive..."
The noble bowed in a mocking way, as elegant and graceful as ever. When she straightened her back again, her eyes were more determined and fiery than ever. "Anyway, I need your help. Just earlier today, I got to meet your owner, cat." A smile soon appeared on her face, and she couldn't help but swoon in happiness she hadn't felt in a long way. She had always loved humans, as had her ancestors before her; did you know that way back then, some humans used to worship her family? That spark of kindness and courage in your eyes — she adored it. "And what can I say? I'm smitten! Oh, her kindness, humour— beautiful, she is too, but no one can rival my beauty, of course. Anyway, I want to get closer to her, but Malleus' jealousy will not let me. I need a way to get rid of him."
"What? Get rid of Malleus—?"
"Oh, just something harmless!" Myza wasted no time in waving off his worries. "Like turning him into a fly! In that way, I get to spend time with (Y/n) and convince her that I am a much better friend than Malleus is."
Grim raised an eyebrow at her plan. "Are all fae this petty?"
"No, it's just the nobility, silly cat," she drawled, giggling. "Anyway, you'll be my assistant, alright? I'm in dire need for one."
"...aren't transformation potions illegal?"
Myza quickly covered his mouth with her pale fingers, a large scowl on her face that immediately caused the cat monster to quieten down again. "Hush," she hissed with her eyes wandering around the area. "No one needs to know about my little hobby, cat..."
Grim shrugged, and she soon removed her hands from his mouth again. Once he was free, he rose to his feet and put his hands on his lips. "What do I do as an assistant?"
"You just do whatever I tell you to. Like pulling levers so that we can get to my super-secret underground hideout where I brew all my potions." Grim still looked very much suspicious of her offer, not really sure if he should get himself into such dangers like this; you would surely scold him and blame his misdemeanors on Ace, wouldn't you? Myza hummed and added, "Besides, I'll pay you a hefty amount of tuna. (Y/n) said you loved tuna."
"Easy, easy!" Grim immediately yelled out, his eyes glowing in happiness. "I'm in."
Myza clapped her hands in happiness and hastily bent down to pick up the heavy cat monster. Within a split second, purple smoke swallowed them and spit them out in front of an ominous looking stone-door again. The serpent fae lowered the cat monster to the floor again and dusted off her expensive dress.
Grim's eyes were wide in fascination, never having witnessed such extraordinary teleportation magic before. Being the third strongest mage in Twisted Wonderland sure had its perks, no?
Once the fae looked flawless again, she gently pushed her newest assistant to the door, on which multiple levers were attached. "Alright, Assistant, pull the lever!" she yelled out.
Grim shrugged and pulled the lever located on the farthest right. "Done," he murmured, only to turn around and witness as Myza plummeted through the hatch that had opened up due to him pulling the lever.
A shrill scream escaped her lips when she landed on a floor beneath him, everything being dark and warm. There were other presences she could sense — and they all seemed to be hostile. "That was the wrong lever—" she screamed out as she turned her gaze up at the cat monster, who sheepishly waved down at her from the hatch. She was about to return to him when a horde of angry and hungry crocodiles threw themselves at her, causing her to sigh nonchalantly while fending them off. "I swear, I shouldn't have kept these crocodiles that Sebek gave to me..."
Grim quirked an eyebrow as he watched her. "And this lady is supposed to brew a potion that turns Malleus into a fly?"
•••
"Myza is such a nice person!" you chirped with a large smile on your face, causing Malleus' to immediately frown.
Sitting in the Diasomnia common room with him after your tour with Myza had ended, Malleus hoped to talk with you about other things — but it seemed like all you wanted to talk about was his fiancee.
Malleus' hands tightened into fists as she shot you a forced smile. "She can be very dramatic at times... even two-faced. But I do admit that she has a very charming side to her." Then, he paused, not very sure what more he could say about her without sounding rude towards his fiancee. A sudden rush of jealousy within him caused him to turn to you and almost remark in a sneer, "I have to confess that I didn't expect you to get along so well— almost too well..."
You hummed along, just happy that you had managed to make a new friend. "Me neither."
Comfortable silence laid itself over the two of you, and you just enjoyed each other's presence without any bothersome words. Your fae friend was allowed to cool down, and you were able to just reminisce about today's events with a large smile on your lips. Eventually, he even worked up enough courage to extend his hand and take your hands into his.
But before you could ask him if he needed something or if something was wrong, a new figure barged into the otherwise empty common room and marched over to you, interrupting your moment.
It was Myza.
"(Y/n), my dear human!" she exclaimed, and you immediately let go of Malleus' hand to pay her your full attention. Her cheerful demeanour immediately brought a large smile to your face. "It is time for us to embark on our quest of brewing some potions — just like I promised you earlier!"
You nodded eagerly and rose to your feet, leaving behind a perplexed dragon fae. "Oh— yes! Let's go—" Gasps escaped your lips once you noticed various bitemarks and bruises on her arms — and her dress looked a little bit worn out, as if she had gotten into a fight. You furrowed your eyebrows in concern and took her left arm that was especially bruised into your hands. "Wait, are you alright, Myza? Your hair looks a little bit singed... and are these bite marks on your arms?"
Myza waved you off, silly giggles escaping her lips. "Oh, they're nothing. But I appreciate your worries," she cooed, flattered. Although a little bit suspicious, you hummed and shot her a little smile. Without wasting any time, she took your hand and dragged you off to the exit of the common room. "Now, shall we go? I will show you how to bring a beastman to his knees with a simple potion—"
Her endeavour was interrupted when she felt a certain resistance from you. Turning around, she found Malleus to have grabbed your other free hand. Thus, you were now the centre of a tug-of-war game.
Malleus had his eyes narrowed threateningly. "Myza, you can't just steal my treasure from me—"
She rolled her eyes, like a mother scolding her child. "Malleus, yes I can," she retorted casually before continuing to pull you along with her, only to result in you shrieking in pain at how you were almost being pulled apart by the two fae holding onto one of your hands, none of them willing to let go.
"Guys..." you cried out, sensing that chaos was about to happen. "Can't we all get along?"
"I saw (Y/n) first!" Malleus growled.
Myza quirked an eyebrow and clicked her forked tongue. "And? You dragon fae always see your loved ones as objects to hoard, although they're not. Is (Y/n) not free to make friends with others?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. Malleus faltered for a moment and lost himself in thoughts, wondering if there was some truth to the serpent's words. As he was distracted, his hold on your hand loosened, and Myza wasted no time in pulling you along and away from her fiance. "Let's go, darling— while he's still distracted!"
"Myza Nyunyuma Amaru, come back here— at once!"
I genuinely wish this isn't the case. Poor Malleus had to deal with the death of his parents at an early age & he now has to cope with losing his only friend as well as his caretaker. The idea of Lilia going all "Whoopsie Daisy" is so fucked up. Let's not forget about Silver too.
As much as I'm worried about Lilia this chapter (and I'm very worried. He's my fav! 😭) I also cant help but wonder if he's not actually dying and just caught the fae equivalent of a cold, and just, ya know, forgot that was a thing. Like his magic is gonna come back in a few days and he'll be all "Oh, guess it was just the sniffles."
I have to think they won't actually perma-kill him in-story -- I tend to be hilariously wrong about predictions, but, like, surely they wouldn't change the status quo that hard. (at least not before his nendoroid comes out.) so it probably will end up something like that! everyone watches Malleus' little shadow-puppet backstory, tears are shed, character development happens, and then Lilia is like "ha ha, speaking of wacky misunderstandings..." let me believe
(or possibly, because Lilia is a jillion years old and everything is relative, "I'm going to die soon!" = a mere 80 or so years left. which still isn't great for Mal, but is way better for Silver and Sebek and me. either way, Lilia's gonna have a lot of 'splaining to do.)
This ain't much, but one of my older brothers who's about 25 years old is getting two LEGO sets for Christmas. He bought one of them & the other was bought by a friend of my oldest brother.

If it makes you feel nice, do it. Don’t even worry about what other people think, because it doesn’t matter–if it brings you happiness, it’s not “ridiculous”, or “immature”.
You deserve to enjoy yourself.
Aww.

The song she has chosen? Dear Future Husband.
And rumours say that tickets are sold out.
Idea by @vallison-rea
"Is my superstar for the evening ready?"
Azul's excited voice rang through the changing room you currently occupied. The sound of the door being closed gently and his footsteps padding against the floor caused you to turn around and shoot him a small smile as soon as you lay eyes on him. Despite the anxiety that simmered in the depths of your stomach, the excitement that rushed through your veins left you unable to sit still — much to Grim's dismay, who was currently doing your make-up.
A restless huff escaped your lips when Azul appeared behind you, his gloved hands resting on your shoulders. His eyes watched you through the mirror in front of you as he waited for your answer.
Taking in a deep breath, you exclaimed, "Yes, I am—" Yet, the grin on your face disappeared when suddenly, a cloud of dust enveloping your head caused you to break down into coughs. Once the air cleared up, you found your cat companion grinning at you innocently, his paws smeared full with make-up. You shot him a glare. "Grim, that's enough powder!"
The cat monster waved you off and instead began dusting you with perfume. "Yada, yada... one can never wear enough make-up!" he muttered while drawing a lipstick from behind his back, causing you to swipe it out of his hands and firmly plant it on the table before he could cause further trouble.
Behind you, Azul let out a chuckle of amusement. "Are you nervous?" he asked and tilted his head to the side teasingly.
The corners of your lips trembled at his question. "Kind of—"
"You shouldn't be," he cut you off briskly, his eyes full of confidence as his gaze growing more intense. You gulped and sank into your seat, feeling the pressure on you growing, as did his grip on your shoulders. But before he could hurt you, he removed his hands and crossed them behind his back, a charming smile on his face. "Just give it your all. All the seats are sold out, and we wouldn't want to disappoint the customers, no?"
You couldn't help but roll your eyes. "Yes, Azul..." A hum of satisfaction escaped his lips, and he turned around to leave you to your own devices. Yet, another matter that lingered in the back of your mind still wouldn't leave you be. So, before he could walk through the door, you suddenly piped up, "I'll get the money immediately after the show is over, won't I?"
The merman came to a halt, then slowly turned around to nod. "As promised, dear. As promised."
Satisfied with his answer, you averted your gaze to the mirror in front of you again, not noticing as Azul remained in the door frame, his arms crossed and his statue leaning against the frame.
Grim, who had been quietly rolling a lipstick between his paws so far, turned his attention to you and grabbed your hands with his paws. "Now, go out there and get us that money! I'm sick of sleeping on that dusty old mattress..." he exclaimed, his eyes full of high expectations. You were about to wave him off in mild annoyance, but were stunned into silence when his usually so boisterous blue eyes revealed a sheen of worry. "But— But! Beware of those simps, alright? Come back in one piece."
His genuine concern caused a smile to appear on your lips. "Don't worry about it, Grim. They're harmless," you muttered under your breath while patting his head.
Yet, the worry that laced his face still wouldn't disappear. "They better be," he growled, "or else the great Grim is going to tear their heads off!"
Before you could assure him that everything would be alright, Azul interrupted the moment by exclaiming, "Alright, now— showtime!" Without even waiting for a reply from your side, he pulled you out of your chair with the excitement of a child and led you down the hallway that led to the backstage area of the lounge.
You couldn't help but roll your eyes in amusement, practically being able to see Madol signs in his eyes.
Azul came to a halt just behind the curtains, where Jade was already waiting to press a microphone into your trembling hands. Both of them wished you good luck before retreating, leaving you on the dark stage all by yourself. Behind the curtains, you could already hear murmurs and whispers — you gulped at the thought of how many people must be be on the other side.
Suddenly nervous, you gazed down at yourself and smoothed out the non-existent wrinkles on your (F/c) dress. And just as you were sure you had eliminated the last flaw of your gown, the curtains began to move aside; the brightness of the lights turning on at the same time almost blinded you. Simultaneously, someone announced, "We present you now: (Y/n), Prefect of Ramshackle, performing the song 'Dear Future Husband'!" You recognised that voice as Jade's.
Once your eyes got used to the blinding lights, you realised just how many students were seated in front of you — so Azul hadn't exaggerated when he said that tickets for the show were sold out. You were even able to discern some familiar faces at the tables. Your knees suddenly grew weak, but determination flooded your thoughts when the music began to play from the speakers attached all around the lounge.
So, taking on last breath, your eyes then shot open, determined to give them their money's worth.
"Dear future husband, here's a few things you'll need to know if you wanna be~" you began softly while making your way towards the staircase that led down to the tables. If Azul wanted you to put on a show, then you would gladly fulfill his wish. Still clutching the microphone tightly in your hands, you ventured over to the closest table. "My one and only all my life~"
Your eyes fell on a familiar ginger-haired Heartslabyul student, who seemed to be recording a video of you. You sauntered over to him and shot him a wink, smiling right into the camera. "Take me on a date! I deserve a break~" Cater laughed along, as carefree as usually, and zoomed in when you blew him a kiss. "And don't forget the flowers every anniversary," you finished before moving on again.
Cater was grinning to himself as he lowered his phone and began furiously typing in hashtags. "#worthit, #everyonesgonnabejealous, #azulisagenius." Then, in utter satisfaction, he posted the video to his MagiCam account.
Your next victim sat right next to him, a fellow Heartslabyul member — good old Trey. A little chuckle escaped his lips when you grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet. "'Cause if you'll treat me right, I'll be the perfect wife," you sang and made him spin you around, as if dancing a waltz. "Buying groceries— Buy-buying what you need." Before you parted again, he was sly enough to press a kiss to your knuckles.
The gesture caught you off-guard at first, but you quickly regained your composure after a few giggles. With a heavy heart, you removed your hand from his and continued along your way.
Ruggie came into view, and he looked excited when he noticed that your attention lay on him. So, once your free hand came down to rest on his shoulder, he began snickering, like he always did. "You got that 9 to 5," you chanted while playfully kneading his tense shoulder with your hand, drawing a relieved sigh from his lips. "But, baby, so do I~" A disappointed frown grew on his face when you removed your hand and sauntered away.
"So don't be thinking I'll be home and baking apple pies." A chuckle escaping your lips, you booped Epel's nose, who let out an annoyed grumble at your gesture. You couldn't help but swoon when an adorable pout appeared on his face, which served to only irritate him even further.
Your eyes roamed the room for your next subject — and they landed on Jamil. The poor Scarabia student sank into his seat and pulled the hood over his face when he noticed you approaching. But his attempt to disappear was fruitless with how you nonetheless wrapped an arm around him and put your chin on his head. "I never learned to cook," you sang, swearing that you could feel him tremble beneath you. "But I can write a hook, so sing along with me." Eventually, you took pity on the poor boy, and since Floyd — who sat next to him — seemed so eager to have you around him next, you let Jamil be.
Just as you got into the near vicinity of Floyd, he grabbed your arm and pulled you into his lap, much to your surprise. Nonetheless, you appreciated that his hold on you was loose enough to allow you to breathe properly and to escape should you want to. So, smiling, you chanted, "Sing-sing along with me, hey!" And indeed, Floyd hummed along, very reminiscent of a young child — but when he flashed his sharp teeth to you, you sank into yourself in fear.
A nervous smile on your face, you unwrapped yourself from his grasp and rose to your feet again. The second-year made a few attempts of grabbing you again, but you managed to evade his swipes and simply continued on your way through the tables.
"You gotta know how to treat me like a lady," you sang while intentionally bumping against Leona. "Even when I'm acting crazy." The beastman shot you an annoyed look, followed by an amused scoff.
Next to the dorm leader sat Jack, whose fluffy white hair you ruffled. "Tell me everything's alright~" you continued and hurried away before he could send you a threatening glare. The poor wolf remained frozen in his seat, his cheeks tinted a dark red.
As you walked past the Diasomnia table, you shot Sebek a wink, knowing his reaction would be hilarious. "Dear future husband, here's a few things you'll need to know if you wanna be~" you sang, accompanied by a few giggles. "My one and only all my life~" And indeed, the poor half-fae turned beet red, a series of stuttered insults escaping his lips.
Malleus' eyes were filled with hidden yearning as you seemed to walk right past him, but the pout on his face actually managed to make you turn around and approach him again. "Dear future husband, if you wanna have a special night walk," you cooed and patted his hand that openly lay on the table, fearing that a more daring gesture would get you killed by a certain retainer of his. "Tell me I'm beautiful each and every night." The dragon fae nodded eagerly and watched you intensely as you disappeared into the crowd again.
When you reappeared behind Epel and put a hand on his shoulder, a startled yelp escaped his lips. He sat there, frozen — unwilling to move his upper body left and right along with you to tye rhythm. "After every fight, just apologise. And maybe then I'll let you try and rock my body right," you sang jokingly, unable to take yourself seriously, resulting in a series of chuckles escaping your lips.
When you distanced yourself from Epel's table again, his eyes were filled with utter confusion. He even turned to Rook for help, but the hunter was busy laughing his soul out, especially when he gazed into the first-year's lost eyes.
"Even if I was wrong. You know I'm never wrong," you cooed and wrapped an arm around Deuce and Ace each. "Why disagree? Why, why disagree?" They nodded along to your singing, laughing and smiling as they always did. Deuce looked mildly nervous with how close you stood to him, and a relieved sigh escaped his lips when you removed your arms again and skipped off into the centre of the lounge.
"You gotta know how to treat me like a lady, even when I'm acting crazy~" you sang and twirled around in circles. The adrenaline pumped through your veins, and you were having the time of your life despite the doubts you had been plagued with earlier. "Tell me everything's alright~" Completely caught in the moment, you would have bumped against a table, if it weren't for an occupant of that particular table jumping up and catching you beforehand.
A gasp escaped your lips at how close of a call it had been. You soon where propped to your feet again by your saviour, who was none other than Lilia. You shot him a grateful smile. "Dear future husband, here's a few things you'll need to know if you wanna be~" you continued smoothly, all the while looking him deep in the eyes. For a moment, only the ancient fae and you seemed to exist. "My one and only all my life~" A charming grin flashed across his face when you bid him a goodbye with a curtsy.
Your eyes were fixated on Vil, your mind rumbling about what to do with him. Touching him in any way was a no-go — he would snap at you for bringing his hair, clothes, or make-up out of order. So, you simply shot him a wave, at which he quirked an eyebrow. "Dear future husband, make time for me," you sang, the lyrics causing his lips to quirk up in amusement. "Don't leave me lonely~" He waved you off, chuckling.
With Rook on the other hand, you decided to go all out. "And no, we'll never see your family more than mine!" you continued while grabbing his signature hat and lowering it onto your own head. Laughing, you struck a few poses with it.
A playful gasp escaped the hunter's lips, his face contorted into an expression that spoke of adoration. The way his amused green eyes seemed to hold you in place made it difficult for you to turn around and walk away, but you eventually managed to tear your gaze away from him, much to his disappointment. Unable to refrain from giggling, you returned the hat to its rightful owner.
Your feet somehow carried you back to the Diasomnia table, where you approached the only sleeping occupant, who managed to not be disturbed by all the noise around him somehow — Silver. You nudged his shoulder, causing him to fall into Lilia, who seemed amused by the whole situation. "I'll be sleeping on the left side of the bed," you cooed and shot Silver a wink when he awoke from his slumber. Due to how disoriented he seemed, it looked like he didn't have the faintest clue of what was happening.
"Open doors for me and you might get some kisses~" you sang as you walked past Jade, making sure to wiggle your eyebrows at him jokingly. The gesture caused a little chuckle to escape his lips.
"Don't have a dirty mind," you cooed and booped Kalim's nose. "Just be a classy guy." With how innocent the Scarabia dorm leader was, he began laughing and cheering for you as you continued to the next table.
There, you found your next victim — Azul. A grin occupied your face when you looked him dead in the eyes and sang, "Buy me a ring. Buy-buy me a ring, babe." You held your free hand out to him, causing him to chuckle in amusement. His eyes watched you intensely while you skipped to the adjacent table.
Riddle sat there, and his face already had turned red without you even doing anything — just looking at him and winking was enough to make his cheeks become as red as his hair. "You gotta know how to treat me like a lady, even when I'm acting crazy." Giggling, you bowed deeply — just like you had seen Deuce often do, but this time, the gesture held a teasing connotation to it. "Tell me everything's alright~" When you straightened your back again, you found steam of embarrassment coming out of the dorm leader's ears.
Proud of yourself, you carried on — your sights set on the floating tablet in a shadowy corner. "Dear future husband, here's a few things you'll need to know if you wanna be~" you chanted while drawing a heart onto the screen of the tablet with your index finger. "My one and only all my life!" No sound came out of the tablet's speakers, but you swore you could hear a sound akin to some wires short-circuiting.
The end of the song was nearing, and for that, you hurried back to the stage. Once having arrived there, you finished, "Future husband, better love me right~" Your voice rang through the large lounge, and you put every ounce of your remaining energy into the grand finale.
Eventually, the music came to a halt and faded out into silence. Your chest heaving up and down, you opened your eyes to find everyone frozen in their seats. Yet, that quickly changed, and the quietness that used to envelop the lounge quickly turned into defeaning applause. Students rose from their seats and clapped and cheered their souls out.
"Thank you, thank you!" you cried out happily and bowed.
Students threw roses onto the stage, causing a large smile to appear on your lips. Careful not to pick up a rose with a thorny stem, you grabbed the one that lay by your feet and twirled it between your fingers. By then, the applause had faded out, and everyone was watching you again, as if they had been enchanted.
"That was (Y/n) with 'Dear Future Husband'," the announcer piped up. "But one question remains: who will be her dear future husband?"
"Me!" almost everyone yelled out at once.
Your heart sank in dread when the guests all began glaring at one another, some expressing their hostility more openly than others. That was the moment you realised: you had messed up.
