A/N: You might be thinking, “Hey, I’ve seen this!” If you’ve seen this, it was probably on my other blog @gryyffindork. I deleted most of my writing on that account and moved it onto this account!
Anyways, I apologize for this kinda sad post :(

oh, don’t mind me. i’m just thinking about how fred weasley didn’t come back as a ghost because he knew he had no unfinished business.
fred pursued his dreams of playing on the Gryffindor quidditch team. (as a beater!)
he and george accomplished their mission of being the best pranksters hogwarts had ever seen in a long time.
he had all the fun he possibly could with his twin brother, george. he knew that they lived a life filled with love and laughter. he and george even brought laughter during the darkest times.
instead of following their brothers, fred and george created their own legacy. fred and george created something that would outlive them both - Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes. the two of them fufilled their life long dream of running a successful joke shop that would bring love, laughter and chaos to any household - just as they did at hogwarts and their very own home.
fred succeeded in creating something that would provide for the Weasleys for generations to come - they would never be seen as poor again.
fred had lived a life filled with love, laughter, chaos, heartbreak and fear. i believe in those final moments with the smile on his face, he knew that he was dying for the greater good. he knew that his business in this life was finished.
and that was enough for him.
