When I read this I had the audio of mario saying "Thank you so much for to playing my game" with the terminalmontage mario somethingseries in my head all day

Okay but can we talk about how there is no good outcome for Whisper in terms of this next story?

YEAH YOU HEARD ME RIGHT:

THERE IS NO GOOD OUTCOME FOR WHISPER IN THIS NEXT ARC

I am being so so autistic over this right now you guys have no idea.

But what do I mean by "there's no outcome?". Primarily in regards to her current goals "to end Mimic."

Like. Actually fucking kill the guy. Both the plot summary and Whisper have made this SUPER fucking clear that somebody will die/get hurt in this arc.

And the intention is for it to be Mimic. Obviously! But some of these bits have me a little.. concerned. ESPICALLY. ONCE AGAIN "ANOTHER FRIEND GETTING CAUGHT IN THE CROSS HAIR" WHAT DO YOU MEAN IAN???"

So let's talk about the route that's most obvious: this will be our second villain death and Mimic dies.

The comic has made it super clear that Tangle doesn't want him to be killed. At every point that Whisper has tried to kill this man, Tangle has been there telling him that it's not okay. That she thinks the best course of action is for her to stop him. Not kill him. It's important to her she doesn't kill him.

So I'm saying this: If Whisper ends up killing off Mimic.

She will MOST LIKELY loose Tangle.

And I point to what Gigi said about Whisper

"Mimic is what Whisper could BECOME"

While Whisper's ENTIRE support group isn't Tangle, I think loosing someone she's gotten so close to would be a huge loss. This would probably lead with her closing herself off again. Returning to the lone wolf she was, now with blood on her hands.

After all Guardian Angels aren't the only Angels are there?

There ARE also fallen angels.

But on the other hand we have the idea that something might happen to Tangle. That Tangle might end up getting hurt and something might happen to her.

I've speculated on the concept that this might (somehow) get mimic to realize that not everyone is a fakey fakerson who's always faking it up. Who knows where that would go.
