-Could you be described as a terrorist? -Our enemies say so. Our enemies call any form of popular resistance terrorism. Who decides and defines what terrorism is? As far as l'm concerned, occupation is terrorism. My people and l have a right to fight it. l don't care what others call it. People have a right to fight those who occupy their country by all means possible, including weapons. That's what it says in the UN declaration. But Leila, if you look up ''terrorist'' in a dictionary?

You, the whole of Sweden and Europe and the USA can travel to Haifa. But l can't, I'm not allowed to. Not just me. 5 million Palestinians can't see Palestine. lsrael doesn't care about international law. Why should we accept that?

Common Palestinian symbols

[ID: The first tweet out of a thirteen tweet thread by the user, @carstairsbur with the displayed name,"Nia FREE 🍉". The tweet says,"Why do we use watermelons as a symbol for Palestine? Why do people wear that white cloth with black designs called the Keffiyah? Why are the olive trees a symbol of fertility, growth and strength?

A thread of Palestinian symbols you may have seen around!". END ID]

The tweet says,"Keffiyah. The garment, originally used to protect individuals across the Middle East against the sun, gained popularity during the Arab Revolt against British colonial rule in the 1930s. Today, the keffiyeh has been adopted globally by activists to support the Palestinian cause.". Below the tweet is an image. END ID]
[ID: A keffiyeh, also spelled kuffiya, is a square-shaped cotton headdress with a distinctive chequered pattern worn in many parts of the Arab world.
The black-and-white variant, worn by Palestinian men and women, has come to symbolise the Palestinian struggle for self-determination, justice and freedom.

The olive-leaves pattern represents perseverance, strength and resilience.
The fishnet pattern represents Palestinian fishers and the people’s connection to the Mediterranean.
The bold pattern represents trade routes with neighbouring merchants of Palestine. END ID]

The olive tree has deep historical and cultural roots in Palestine, and its branches have been associated with peace and prosperity for centuries.
The hardy trees can handle drought, subzero temperatures, frost and even fire. They are symbolic of Palestinian resilience against Israeli occupation and their connection to the land.

Olive cultivation plays a crucial role in the Palestinian economy through olive oil, table olives and soap production.

About 80,000 to 100,000 Palestinian families rely on the olive harvest for their income, which takes place every year between October and November. Traditionally, the harvest season is a time of festivities and joy, but tight Israeli restrictions and settler attacks overshadow it. END ID]

[ID: In 1948, Zionist military forces expelled at least 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and lands in what became known as the Nakba (“catastrophe” in Arabic). Those people took their keys with them, sure they would return.
Many Palestinians still hold onto the keys to their original homes as a symbol of their hope and determination to return one day. These keys have been passed down several generations and are kept as a symbol of Palestinians’ right to return – a principle enshrined in international law that grants individuals the right go back to their homes of origin.
During Israel’s latest offensive in Gaza, at least 1.5 million Palestinians have been driven out of their homes, double the number of those displaced during Nakba in 1948. For Palestinians, Nakba is not a discrete historical event. It is an ongoing process of displacement that has never stopped. END ID]

[ID: Handala is a cartoon character created by Palestinian cartoonist Naji al-Ali that reflects his own childhood refugee experience and the ongoing plight of Palestinians displaced by the Nakba.
The first version of the cartoon appeared in a Kuwaiti newspaper in 1969 and was drawn facing the viewer. However, in 1973 following the October War, al-Ali started drawing Handala with his back turned to reflect how the world had itself turned its back on the Palestinians.

Handala is barefoot and wears ragged clothes like the refugee camp children al-Ali remembers when he was forced to leave his village as a 10-year-old boy.

Handala is named after the “handhal”, a bitter fruit that grows in the dry areas of Palestine. It grows back when cut and has deep roots.

In 1987, Naji al-Ali was assassinated in London. No one has been charged with his murder. END ID]

Demon Roommate P.3

 Part 1 Part 2

Gender Neutral Reader: They/Them pronouns

Human!Demon Brothers/Demon!Mc

MC exited Mammon’s room, the demon walked along the corridors of the house. As they passed by Levi’s door they heard the sound of gunshots. Lots and lots of gunshots.

Is this guy killing somebody?

MC thought. You attempted to open the door of his room to only find out it was locked. MC knocked on the door, “Leviathan, are you killing somebody with a gun?” you hoped he could hear you, you wanted to join in the fun of killing another human being.

Levi gave you no answer. You frowned, knocking once again. He gave no reply, you sighed, you didn’t want to have to use your powers to blast down the door, but when it came to killing, you just had to do it,

Just as you were starting to gather your power, Satan tapped your shoulder “Are you going to eat breakfast?” your stomach rumbled, Satan chuckled lightly “I’ll take that as a yes.”

You followed him to the dining room, completely forgetting about wanting to satisfy your urge to kill and instead focusing on satiating your hunger.

Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Belphegor were there as well. They were already eating their food, well Beel was doing the eating. Asmodeus was taking pictures of his food and posting it on instagram, while Belphegor was snoring away.

You sat down on your chair, you studied your plate, on your plate was a traditional British breakfast. Consisting of back bacon, scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, fried mushrooms, buttered toast, and sausages.

You stabbed your fork into the sausage taking a large bite out of it. You swallowed, “This tastes good.” Satan only hummed in reply.

You ate most of your plate already, you were pretty full. “Can I have the rest of your food, MC?” Beelzebub asked you, “Are you sure you’re not full Beel?” He smiled “I have plenty of room MC, now will you give me the rest of your plate?” you shrugged, “If you say so.” you passed your plate over to him, he gave you his thanks.

He ate savagely. There were crumbs on his stuffed face which he proceeded to stuff even more.

He had finished eating your plate already. He had his eyes set on Belphegor’s plate, like a predator to its prey.

He grabbed Belphegor’s plate, he ate it greedily. Not leaving a single crumb on the plate, those crumbs stuck to his face.

Sighing at how many crumbs were on his face, you dragged your thumb towards the cheek with most crumbs, wiping the crumbs off, proceeding to lick them off your finger.

Beel stared at you, it took him a whole minute to process what just happened. His face grew red, he spluttered in confusion. “Di-did you just- D-did you?”

You laughed, “You look like a big red tomato.”

I’ve been seeing a few cases of this happening, and I wish I didn’t have to make this post, but I am imploring all of you, all of you…

Please please please do not cancel and/or ask for a refund of a commission, be it art or writing, just because the artist or writer in question is Filipino. Our current situation is distressing and anxiety-inducing, and canceling commissions will only add to it. There is even the possibility that if another Marcos sits on the presidential seat, Paypal can pull out of the Philippines and prevent us from making transactions with people from other countries. We need all the help and support that we can get, whether through sharing information, through monetary support, and other things.

I will put this in the main Twisted Wonderland tag so that this gains more exposure. Please also reblog this around or even share to other social media platforms and share this to all other fandoms.

So when you hear about Biden slowing down arms shipment

The Biden administration is considering slowing some arms shipments to Israel as leverage to convince Prime Minister Netanyahu to heed U.S. calls to scale back its military assault in Gaza, according to officials familiar with the discussions. https://t.co/0FL05ZkfBG

It's not because he cares about Palestinians (cutting UNRWA funds, because of confessions obtained through torture, should tell you otherwise), it's because he doesn't have a large stockpile of weapons to send.
