You headed upstairs, thinking of checking up on Mammon. You passed a plate on the hallway, it had this day’s breakfast on it. It was right outside Leviathan’s door. There were still sounds of gunshots coming from the door.

You thought, you looked down at the plate. You knew Beelzebub ants were gonna come and eat it. So you picked up the plate and performed a spell on the door, causing the door to open up slightly. The room was dark, clothes, wrapping paper, and a ton of junk was strewn on the floor. You frowned. More trash in your house.

There were sounds of gunshots coming from a screen, Levi was on the floor what looked like a human game. You closed the door quietly, leaving the plate on a table. 

You snuck up behind Leviathan, staring intensely at his back. His games character was a girl with lilac hair dressed in more lilac. “What’s that?” you asked him, he jolted up, he turned to face you, his eyes wide “Wh-what’re you doing here?” 

You pointed towards the table you placed the plate on, he squinted, “What’s that?” “Your meal.” 

“Oh, well thanks.” it was quiet, he broke the silence by telling you “I appreciate you bringing the food in, but please go outside.” you pouted “But I wanna watch you play...” he looked shock, but stammered out “F-fine, you can stay, but be quiet...” you smiled widely, “Yay!” you could make out a small blush starting to grow on his face.

He turned back to his screen. You watched intently as he played the game.

After five minutes you were getting tired of having to slouch without any support. You spotted an area where you could finally be more comfortable while slouching. 

You rested your head on Levi’s shoulder. 

His character stopped moving, you turned to him, you could see his ears have turned red, you asked him “Is anything wrong, Levi?” “N-nothing!”

I'm starting to think I have a type

Holy shit, an active duty American soldier set himself on fire in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington DC. Before he set himself on fire he introduced himself as "an active duty member of the U.S. Airforce I will no longer be complicit in genocide." Then repeated "free Palestine" while he was on fire. He did it while wearing his duty uniform too. There is footage of the act. I don't know how I feel about posting images of a man's self-immolation but it's such an unprecedented action to be almost unbelievable without visual evidence. Even with the several self-immolations that occurred on American soil during the Vietnam and Iraq wars, I don't think I can point to one undertaken by an active duty soldier. I will instead link to the Twitter post where it was first made public under the "more" cut below. It goes without saying that the image is graphic.

Reminder that the US bombed Iraq a day ago. Reminder that this attack has killed 16 Iraqis, many of whom were civilians. Reminder that Iraq has already suffered enough at the hands of US imperialism, that to this day it’s recovering from the aftermath of being defamed to the world as terrorists, from its cities being destroyed under the guise of “exterminating ISIS” (an echo of Israel decimating Palestine to “exterminate Hamas,” interesting), that the US has so many ulterior motives to continue encroaching upon Iraq that have nothing to do with their seemingly noble rationale, and that it does all this while funding Israel’s ongoing genocide of Palestinians (which are basically doing their dirty work of pushing further in on Arab territory). It’s jarring that this is all happening on a world stage & yet nothing is being done to stop it. Hands off Iraq. Free Palestine. Hands off Iraq. Free Palestine.
