katherine- “a bunch of david’s looking to take on a goliath”
jojo, to race and albert- “whos david and what’s a goliath”
in the background of the scene where davey meets medda you can see some of the newsies (specifically mush) helping out at the theater before the show and i like to think some of the boys help out before some of the shows for some extra money after they sell their papers
Albert, who does not do hugs under any circumstances. For as long as the Newsies have known him, he hasn't given a single person a hug.
The only exception to this was when the strike settled. Without even realising it, he tackled JoJo into the tightest bear hug possible.
JoJo cried quite hard afterwards.
i’m in a production of hamlet and i made these to promote the show!! i’m in the middle i play marcellus ☝️ guess the scene, GO!
It was only a matter of time before I drew this crossover. This begs the question though, how would Senshi prepare a Kishin Soul? Soul food was the first thing that came to mind but what do y’all think?
you know he’s wasted
Tommy what the heck
sprace but it’s race hinting at spot that he has a lil’ crush by calling spot all these SUPER CUTE italian pet names (tesoro, etc.) and spot just assuming race is saying asshole or smth
Jack: And JoJo? You were raised by nuns, I expected way better from you.
JoJo: Okay, but your point? The nuns didn't raise no bitch.
I know it's been said but... these yellowjackets ship names are so boring y'all plsss. Shaunahat is objectively hilarious, butcherqueen eats, parkinglot makes me exhale through my nose, but the rest of them? Boring!! Where's the whimsy?? Where's the camp?? This fandom's content is delicious, but how am I supposed to eat this without a drink?? These dryass names finna make me choke 😩
it’s actually insane that in theory, a kid who participated in the historical Newsies strike could’ve lived long enough to see 92sies.
Like imagine that you were in a strike with a bunch of other kids when you were like 9, and then when you’re in your 90’s you see that they made a whole-ass movie about it.
crazy.
