— Tech was always destined to die but not in this one.
You can obviously tell how rushed this is and i’m so mad. I thought I was cooking with the concept but I cannot spend another second working on this without tears.
Domestic avengers post captain America civil war is real, marvel just hates my happiness personally (im delusional) (please please please)
The fandom has mostly died here on Tumblr, we can all admit that.
But the reason, some of us most likely won't admit is because after Endgame, the MCU became more female and POC focused. Your average white guy like Chris Evans, RDJ and Sebastian Stan (all whom I love) aren't the center anymore and a lot of people don't like it.
It started with Captain Marvel and people shitting on it because Brie Larson was the lead. The movie was good. People still don't want to accept Sam as Cap even though Steve gave him the shield, he had a whole ass show and when Chris came back to a Marvel movie it was as Johnny Storm, not Cap. Let's not start with the hate the Eternals got, the movie with what was arguably the most diverse cast. (They scrapped Eternals 2 because of it.) Plus all of the other Marvel shows which have women and/or POC leads
Marvel isn't dead; y'all just racist and misogynistic.
Be delivered.
Literally just me if I was a Spider-Man. Also let’s pretend I’m able to have the front strands and the braids through the mask lmao
something i keep experiencing
a curious friendly wild animal cautiously approaching the nature documentary crew to sniff the camera and say hi to the humans
Sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind.
battle couples has gotta be one of my favorite tropes though. The “you got me?” “Yeah, I got you.” The kiss for good luck. Fighting alongside each other for so long they know every strength and weakness. The dichotomy of being fucking terrifying to their enemies, but so soft with each other. When one is in danger and the other goes feral, protects them at any cost. When everything is over and done, it’s all “let me see where you’re hurt,” and washing off the dirt and blood.
The stuggles of being a writer.
A shame that I have to actually finish my book before I get to read it. I enjoy writing it just as much but I am looking forward to finishing my first book and getting to read through it, even if I do know what's going to happen.
Thunderbolts hasn’t come out yet so we literally do not know anything about Bucky’s arc. I don’t think it’s necessary or fair to be mad about this movie “destroying” his character when we literally have not seen it yet. And being mad for nine months leading up to the movie’s release is going to be exhausting for you tbh. Let’s pump the brakes a bit.
I understand feeling protective of your favorite character; he’s my absolute number one, so I feel the same urge to protect him.
I just don’t think it makes sense to see one trailer and immediately say that this movie will ruin the progress he made.
Also, let’s remember that healing is not a linear process! So I know we saw him in a really good place at the end of TFATWS, but that doesn’t mean he’s permanently/ completely healed. He went through a lot. There will be ups and downs for him. So chill, maybe.
