If heroes are supposed to help those in need, comfort the distressed and protect the vulnerable, then Tomura Shigaraki deserves the title of the greatest hero. Not because he had the highest ranking or saved the most lives or was the "goodest person" but because he did that shit. He gave a place to the disenfranchised he kept them safe and fed to the best of his ability and fought for their happiness. Not out of want for fame or glory. Not even because of some grand sense of altruisim. But because he saw the league as people, as his friends.

In spite of AFO's schemes, in spite of hero society's apathy, in spite of the fucking narrative both in universe and in our lives, Tomura Shigaraki was a hero. And even when he failed he never stopped trying.

Tomura Shigaraki is the greatest hero in the series.

I kinda hate when people see someone say something along the lines of “I don’t support gay people”m and people are like “you don’t have to support as long as you are respectful.” Dude all being a supporter / ally is is being respectful, standing up for people when others are being jerks, listening to the community, and not voting in hateful laws / people. That’s it. That’s the bar. If they aren’t doing at least one of those things then it isn’t ok, and they are hurting the community. No one needs to know all the labels, buy rainbow stuff, go to pride events, or even know the history. As long as they are doing those 4 things they are good. They support / are an ally. Telling them that they don’t have to do those things, or that they aren’t in the wrong for not supporting so bad

okay so this is not an ‘official’ metric by any scale but i am curious so i just bullshitted my own (explanation on levels under the poll)

level 1 - can’t tolerate horror at all, actively avoids it at all costs

level 2 - will watch a horror movie with friends/family if convinced but will definitely not enjoy it. screams at jumpscares and covers eyes at tense moments

level 3 - can occasionally consume horror media. very easily startles at jumpscares. usually feels anxious/paranoid afterward

level 4 - startles at jumpscares and generally feels uneasy after consuming horror media. avoids anything horror-related at night time

level 5 - jumpscares are less effective, but can still startle. feels anxious during tense moments. horror mostly causes unease only at night time

level 6 - has no problem consuming any kind of horror media alone at night. is largely unaffected by jumpscares. horror causes no feeling of fear or anxiety
