it's about how jinx was always perfect in silco's eyes. it's about how jayce always loved viktor because he was imperfect. it's about jinx saying, "i thought maybe you could love me like you used to, even though i'm... different." it's about viktor saying, "i am more than i ever was." silco bringing jinx back to life after she tried to kill herself on the bridge; jayce bringing viktor back to life despite his promise to destroy the hexcore. it's about jinx's "looks like you got a couple" cutting to the core of viktor's obsession with curing himself, and viktor instantly parrying with "you have much to offer this commune, powder," a stark reminder of the child she no longer is, the child people won't stop recognizing her as.
vi accusing jinx of murdering powder. jayce snarling that his partner died in this room. vi's lesson being that she has to accept jinx for who she is now, who she has the potential to be in the future, and to stop letting her grief for powder eclipse her love for jinx in the present - jayce's lesson being that he has to experience the world through viktor's eyes to really understand him, and then he has to show viktor how he has always seen him, and everything else only gets in the way. silco telling jinx that she needs to find the strength to walk away, or the cycle will never end. jayce and viktor ending the cycle together.
i'm always with you, sis. even when we're worlds apart. // in all timelines, all possibilities... only you can show me this.
people uneducated in the gerard way canon blaming him for ua being bad leave my girl out of this!!!!!!!
He be a long lad
This is either some kind of bizarre foreshadowing or a very egregious example of Star Rail's clumsy design and writing philosophy.
what if you’re giving birth to twins and it’s the end of daylights savings day and the older twin was born first but the second twin travels back in time and is born an hour before the first twin, would that be fucked up or what.
WHY SHE HIT HER WITH THE BI FINGER GUNS IM FUCKFING CRYINGGGG 😭😭
Hm. Au where Niki and Jack manage to take Tommy’s last life, and Tubbo, in his desperation to bring him back, is made vulnerable to a being he knows quite a bit about-considering it’s most well known follower laid claim to his second life.
The Blood God.
It offers him a deal-reviving Tommy, in exchange for becoming it’s follower.
And Tubbo, Tubbo doesn’t want this. He doesn’t want to serve the bloodthirsty being who lives in most children’s nightmares. But he has tried everything else. He has tried every spell he can get his hands on, no matter how dangerous and painful to him. He has tried every artifact he has track down, every prayer he can utter.
This is the only option he has left. So he agrees, and as it takes his face between it’s hands, the world goes red.
Hours later, his vision clears. Tommy lays to the side, chest rising softly as his eye lids flutter open. Tubbo embraces him and cries.
And later that night, when his best friend is sleeping deep, safely tucked into bed, Tubbo weeps for a different reason. Tossed under his bed, a bloodied blade hums, satisfied with it’s first sacrifice.
Niki’s first life is taken in return for giving Tommy back his last. Her second one…well.
Blood for the Blood God.
—————————————————————————————————-
Includes Tubbo getting even more traumatized, in return for Tommy getting a break once in his life…y’know, until he learns about what’s been going on, but that’s not important.
Technoblade and Tubbo going from whatever-they-are-now to clashing-with-wildly-different-views-now-that-they’re-forced-to-interact to reluctant-mentor-and-apprentice-who-still-don’t-agree-with-each-other-but-have-bigger-problems-to-worry-about-including-protecting-their-respective-dear-ones to companions-who’ve-accepted-they-see-things-different-but-share-a-bond-forged-during-their-time-together-and-will-work-together-to-protect-those-they-care-about-and-and-trying-to-make-amends-for-the-past.
Lots of Gods and such.
Tubbo delving more into rituals and spells as he integrates into the Blood God’s following.
Gardening, and spending time with the bees. The Blood God is as much about life as they are about death. If Tubbo’s willing to sacrifice a few jars of honey, and some flowers, well, they can be a little lenient on the bloodshed.
Tension and forced bonding between the Sleepy Bois and Tubbo, more so after Tommy gets involved with it. There’s a lot of unaddressed issues between them all, but circumstances have thrown them together, and now they’re all gonna have to deal with it.
Niki’s on her last life, when she formerly had three. She’s also now terrified of Tubbo, and this might end up with her thinking Tommy’s corrupted him if she doesn’t take a step and look at things-which could end up a lot worse, with her deciding to bring them both down.
Tension everywhere, really. Two of the people he genuinely trusted not to hurt any of them, one of which he invited into his safe haven, just took his best friend’s life. And now Tubbo’s got a craving for blood he doesn’t quite know what to do with.
Tommy having another person to watch his back, and maybe having some side effects of being briefly dead and revived, and not noticing them.
Basically pain and slow-burn found family forming again after a lot of bad things happened. Healing, and such.
Sometimes I wake up and bam. Toxic Side Order yuri is in my sketchbook. I can't control it
This is how the golden age of piracy ended.
plotholes in season 4 i really don't understand now i've digested the season please feel free to explain or add your own:
- sparrow academy and especially sloane just being forgotten, luther just seeming to magically get over his wife disappearing and not fighting in any way shape or form to find her or get back to a timeline with her in it - especially as they show discovery of the phoenix academy you think five would mention that a timeline with sloane must exist out there - ben being teased on the subway train at the end of season 3 but just??? never showing up??? was that an alternative timeline? - allison doing everything last season motivated by the idea of being able to get to claire and ray only for ray to apparently leave her with zero elaboration as to why or what happened - making fatphobic jokes towards diego but actually he takes his shirt off and is still ripped as fuck? - upon regaining their powers luther getting his ape body back which??? literally had nothing to do with his marigold related powers it was because of an accident on a previous timeline? - lila getting laser beam eye powers seemingly from nowhere, but it's not as if this was ever addressed because she could still mimic powers (see: her using five's time travel ability) - very limited use of powers, there were a few cool moments in episode 2 but ultimately it felt like there was no need to even get them back as they rarely showcased them (with the exception of five's getting them stuck) - klaus throwing his marigold onto a passing man but this never getting any exploration - never explaining why jennifer was in a giant squid - never explaining why jennifer got locked up in a safe - ben apparently never discussing with klaus how he died??? - ben and jennifer not realising that the entire motel had blown up around them including murdering flocks of birds and staff when they checked out? - entire five/lila plotline but also five figuring out how to leave and not saying anything when he has always been the first to want to get back and protect his family - lila apparently hating bracelets despite the fact that diego making lila a bracelet and it keeping them linked was such a big plotpoint it was used as a teaser in previous seasons (and the bead bracelet just disappearing) - lila being so intent on saving her family and the kids by sending them to the subway and on an alternative timeline but only one 'true' timeline can survive anyway which would erase the subway - the kids existing when the parents that created them don't - the entire show being for nothing in that the umbrellas do not even exist anymore
