AU where Dream and Tubbo are siblings, and Dream convinces Tubbo he’s doing all that bad stuff for the sake of the SMP, and gets Tubbo to help him out.
By the time Tubbo is aware of what his brother’s really doing, which is not the much nicer version he’s been told, he’s too scared to leave, having long since been convinced that everybody else would kill him in a heartbeat.
Once his brother is put in jail, Tubbo, who’d been watching from a hidey hole, and really didn’t want any part of this, was teleported out by XD. Why the deity did so, he’s uncertain, but he did. Teleported way out to some distant snowy biome with a few spruce trees, where Tubbo was, essentially, stranded.
He thinks it might be for the best, honestly. He’s not exactly on great terms with everybody.
Purpled kind of has the role of Tommy’s best friend here, because Dream was lowkey an overprotective brother before he decided to be evil instead, and insisted Tubbo wear a protective mask, and keep away from everybody. So, they definitely all think he’s a lot older than he actually is.
The only ones who have any idea are Bad, George, and Sapnap. Bad’s possessed by the Egg, Dream convinced Sapnap Tubbo was all for it, and George…George has been a bit occupied in Dreamland.
Purpled being Tommy’s friend changed quite a bit, actually. He was never part of L’manberg, but he fought with them, and helped out. And when Tommy was exiled by Fundy, after he managed to find the place(it took him awhile, with Dream throwing him off and distracting him), he got Tommy out of there.
The two eventually ran across Techno while hiding from Dream, and both he and Phil were not happy to hear what Dream had been doing to their youngest.
So they take Tommy in, and he ends up sticking with them, along with Purpled, and eventually Ranboo, who they invite to join them on Doomsday, and he agrees, because he’s been having a hard time in L’manberg, not having too many allies.
The Syndicate helps imprison Dream. They’re aware of Ranboo’s enderwalking problems, and trying to help.
What they don’t know is that when Enderboo isn’t forced under Dream’s command, he’s actually very chill, and also, very, very fond of Tubbo, who’s always nice to him, and, occasionally, when his brother wasn’t around, would goof off with him.
Enderboo leaves a lot of semi-cryptic messages for Ranboo that basically amount to ‘please go check on Tubbo, I’m very worried, and I don’t think he’s eating’ or something similar. Unfortunately, Ranboo never figures out what they mean, and just gets really freaked out instead.
Tubbo has accidentally adopted a piglin child with Enderboo-I mean, he assumes that’s what’s going on, he’s not entirely sure. Enderboo kind of just dropped the child off, and now they’re raising him?? Very confusing, but Tubbo kind of enjoys the company.
Basically Tubbo just being sad in his cozy spruce cottage, Enderboo being that one stray cat that keeps adopting things, and everyone else having no idea what’s going on, but misunderstanding just about everything.
No seriously what was this about then if none of them remembered/recognized Jennifer???
SPECIALLY sparrow Ben, you mean to tell me he obsessively drew the picture of some other random woman who also happened to be named Jennifer????
Y'all's goin about @burrotello 's super awesome Fight Club AU,

the break effect scaling dps family
Ben has been one of my favorite characters in the show since the first season and it pisses me off to no end how he’s treated in s4.
I really respected the show’s decision to have Umbrella!Ben sacrifice himself for Viktor because it made sense for his character to be ready to move on in that moment and to do that for his brother and his family. It was an end that did justice to his character.
But if Viktor dies at the end, and so does the whole family, then his sacrifice is for nothing. Ben saved his family at the expense of his own existence for what reason? So that they could live a couple more years and die anyway in the series finale?
I enjoyed the new take they did with Sparrow!Ben as a version of Ben who grew up without the mess and love of the Umbrellas and how much that changed things because it was a compelling concept—which had no pay off in s4.
Why did the show bother establishing Sparrow!Ben as an asshole that was also desperate to belong and be liked, as the guy who whined about not being invited to Luther’s bachelor party and asked Klaus why the other Ben was so much better?
Why did we go through all this story arc if he ends up exactly the same in s4? Ben is still pushing everyone away, still considering himself to have no family and no friends, still thinking of himself as a bad person.
I thought we’d get to see Sparrow!Ben clash with the others in order to show them he’s not their Ben. And it would have been so freaking satisfying to watch the siblings accept and understand he’s his own person and decide they want Sparrow!Ben in the family anyway. That would be an emotional conflict I’d care about, not the bullshit insta-love the writers pulled with Jennifer.
What was the point of Sparrow!Ben this season? He was used to being a soldier, but seemed desperate for a family last season—a family he immediately rejected when it was offered to him in s4.
He died a horrible death and had no control over his own body at the end. He didn’t even become a stupid flower in the new timeline. He just ceased to exist—all alone.
With no family or ties. No hero death. Why did the audience spend 2 seasons getting to know this new version of a well liked character if the show did absolutely nothing to take the story to any decent conclusion?
Both Umbrella and Sparrow Ben are just erased from the narrative because the show didn’t even bother including them in their stupid collective death ending. 4 seasons of Ben’s death haunting the narrative and the Hargreeves for this?
I’m ranting like a deranged madman but that’s my main takeaway. What a waste :/
Here's a list of things I liked in s4 because I need more than one morbidly beautiful opening shot to give me a purpose in life:
Confirmation that Ben and Viktor were close as children
Proof that Ben's always had a mean streak in him, the brainwashing just made him seem like a saint
The concept of the time subway
Five's Deli
That scene with Diego spinning in the air with bullets swirling around him
Jennifer having a Filipina actress
Diego and Lila's daughter being named Grace
Klaus practically being Claire's other parent
Luther embracing the silly
Gene and Jean
The Ben idea would have been so good tbh, like I love Ben(Six and Two) and wish he got to actually live life, but it would have definitely have been better for sure
I am so confused about the season 4 ending because it WASN'T NECESSARY AT ALL.
Seeing all these characters who have suffered and grown and made lives for themselves be erased is such bullshit.
Y'know what would've been tragic? The idea that Ben always dies. That Ben realises that he can absorb the others' marigolds, the power he tricked them into getting back when they didn't want it, by getting Viktor to transfer them to him.
So that he can finally save Jennifer and his family.
He isn't their Ben. He is a different guy who lost all of his family and is trying to fit into a place another version of him belonged in. But he doesn't belong there. Ben always sacrifices himself to save his family because he loves them.
Much like how the original Ben's death pushed the Academy apart, his death now pulls them back together and they all get to be happy and together as a family with their loved ones.
The idea that the Umbrellas themselves will always cause an apocalypse makes no sense and is just plain stupid and lazy writing. Heck, if anything, Viktor is the reason why an apocalypse always happens! He is the one who blew up the moon, caused the nukes to fall in the sixties, and then caused the kugelblitz by giving Harlan powers! So if anyone was to be erased to stop the apocalypse it would be Viktor but the show didn't even consider that for reasons.
