What do you think?

Hello umi-teardrop,

I always think that the family trees people make to connect DGS with modern AA is interesting. I had a ton of fun creating my own family tree years ago, and I'm glad you had fun creating yours too.

To Seishiro Jigoku

Why?

Ten years ago, during that travesty of a trial against your close friend Genshin, you stepped up to the witness stand to defend him. You even destroyed said stand in your fury.

A few days later, when commanded by Stronghart, **you chose to put a bullet to your friend's heart**. You had a choice, and yet you chose to betray that friend you had tried to defend with all your might.

...

...

*Why?*

To my anonymous writer,

I don't think that it is possible to explain the kind of duress I was under on that fateful night. I fully believed in Genshin's innocence. He was my best friend. I would not have destroyed court property if I had not believed that I was correct.

When you are given an order by someone who terrifies and awes you in equal amounts, who holds their fate in your hands, who is urging, demanding that you do something drastic for the fate of yourself and your friends, what do you do? If I had not shot Genshin, I think Stronghart would have shot him instead. I do not believe there was any chance he would have made it out of that cemetery alive.

I was foolish, selfish, reckless, and manipulated. I was too much of a coward to stand up to this order, the time pressure and possibility of Yuujin being caught in the crosshairs... I can never forgive myself for what I did. I hope nobody can forgive me. I deserve every torture in the world.

But nothing I ever do can bring him back.

How did Naruhodo and the Mikotobas' boat ride home go? How have things been back in Japan?

Hullo, dear friend.

The trip back to our home country was certainly a bittersweet one. It was not my first time having to say goodbye to my second home, but it could be argued that this time was even more difficult. The three of us managed well enough on the boat, with plenty to do to keep our minds occupied, but as I lay awake in an empty bed, I longed to be with my partner.

I feel immense pride for those two fine young adults. They have been getting along better and better as of late, sharing an experience that few could possibly hope to understand. I long for such camaraderie myself.

Things have been successful in Japan. The three of us have worked hard to implement new ideas within our legal system, adding some contingencies in the hopes of stopping any situations like that of The Professor to happen in our country.

I would like to say I do not regret the choice to leave immediately, but I cannot say that in full confidence. I go back and forth on whether or not I made the right idea.

In short, the situation is complex but progressing smoothly. Signed, Dr. Yuujin Mikotoba

William Shamspeare,

If you were a type of equine what kind would you be? Unicorn? Pegasus? Regular horse but with a flamboyant color scheme perhaps?

Best wishes

Dearest anon,

I haven't the faintest idea how you learned of my proclivity for horses. Majestic creatures, are they not? Whether tis nobler to be the beast that trots and whinnies in outreaching forests, or to grow wings through a seabound deity and by opposing use them.

I know that I am not a fan of the work horse. Though they have their place, I would not want to be used in such a way. I have always had a connection with the racehorse, the ones with an attitude, a prance in their step and a preference for various foods. As for colour schemes, I don't know how flambouyant a horse could be. Though, their racing uniforms can be quite fancy.

Signed,

William Shamspeare

Dear father-in-law,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I am writing to invite you to our baby shower, which will be held in three months.

I know that this invitation comes at a difficult time for our family, as we are still mourning the loss of my brother-in-law. His memory will always be in our hearts, and I know that he would have been so excited to welcome our new baby into the world.

We would be honored to have you join us in celebrating the newest addition to our family. Your presence would mean the world to us, and we hope that you can make it.

With love,

Lord Blackquill.

To Lord Blackquill,

Thank you for your kind invitation. I am certain that my husband and I will be able to attend this celebration, and we look forward to welcoming this new life into our family. I hope that our presence there will be able to bring a bit more life to such a dark time you and your wife have been facing.

Respectfully, Lord van Zieks.

Heather:To our dear fathers me and my brother hope you’re well. I’m here to ask you something. Originally it’s was me and Henry but he was afraid to ask this question. So here is my question Did you guys ever had a big argument like it was so big that it almost ended up you to going to yours merry ways and never seeing each other again.

(Henry appear out of nowhere) Henry: Or if you guys our uncomfortable with this question and possibly mad at us for asking such a personal question! So you don’t have to answer it.

Heather:Henry what are you doing?

Henry: oh I’m just telling our dads that if they feel uncomfortable that they shouldn’t answer the question.

Heather: ok but why did you threw the line “Possibly mad at us for asking such a personal question”

Henry:Hey you don’t know if they would be mad or not about this.

Heather:(sighs)

Dearest Heather and Henry,

You have no need to be so afraid to ask such a question. If ever there is a question that he, or I, or anyone does not want to answer, we would simply choose to not answer it. We are under no obligation to do so. That being said, such a question can be answered in a very simple and non-invasive way, and thus we (or, I suppose, I) will do so.

There is a short answer and a long answer to this. I will answer first in the shorter way. In terms of interpersonal relationships, I do believe it's impossible to never get in any arguments. The difference is in if these are disagreements, arguments, or full-on fights. I do try not to let it escalate to that final stage, as that makes it far more difficult to reconcile. The most important thing is ensuring that you have an honest communication with the people around you.

That being said, Albert and I haven't been in this new stage of our relationship long enough to have too many arguments in the vein of splitting apart like that. The closest we've gotten to such a thing would be when I told Albert to leave London as soon as the trial was over.

I feel quite ashamed for my actions towards him, especially at that time. I had gotten to the point where I no longer cared if I hurt him emotionally, nor how badly I would hurt him, so long as he survived the experience. And, while that may be something one can forgive oneself for, I am truly ashamed of my actions.

I did not care if he left forever. I did not care if he would never recover. When he sent me letters from Germany, both in the years leading up to his London trip and the months following, I never once responded until after I had managed to recover from the final trial.

I learned a lot of difficult things about my family. I had to rethink quite a bit about my life and my actions. I found what I had done to be unforgivable, and yet he forgave me anyways. He is an incredible man, better than I could ever be. No one deserves a love like him.

And so, I will always try my hardest to ensure he feels listened to, understood, cared for. It is the absolute least I can do to help him. Any argument can be overcome so long as the person is worth it. And for him... anything is worth it.

Dear father,

I have a request for you.

Please destroy any case files that has something to do with Victoria Karma.

Henry

My son,

While I understand you may be hesitant to re-experience a difficult time in your life, I will not be a part of any sort of destruction of evidence. I am honestly surprised that you would ask me, of all people, to do something like the conspiracy our family was dragged into all those years ago.

I will not be complicit in this. All I can ask is that you talk to someone about the trouble you are in. Particularly your Uncle Sherlock, if you can manage it.

With care, Lord Barok van Zieks

Mod post: hello!

Hello to all the new people who've followed this blog!! I have run out of asks to answer but the ask box is always open, I'm looking for some new plots to start, and I just got a medication that makes my brain work so chances are I'll even answer those asks!

I really hope you like what you see.

this more a question for the mod(s?) but um. how did you get such good sprites of all the characters? the ones on the wiki suck and im not sure how you did it </3 thanks if you do answer btw!!

Hello astonot!

I'm afraid I don't know the exact process, as it was actually @ask-modern-aceattorney who figured out the process! Essentially, I would pick the sprites I liked best, and they would put them through some sort of gif enhancer, one by one. I started sending gifs in our dms because we were both having fun setting up blogs, and they offered to upgrade, and I couldn't say no.

Thank you for the ask! I know this probably doesn't help too much but I'm so glad you enjoy my stuff <3

...😳

...

...😱!!!

M... M- Mr Asman!!

Well I never imagined this! That this unusual postbox would allow for a contact with the afterlife!

🤯 H- Hello! I- I'm Nos E. Prick, reporting for The Daily Circus, sir! Oh, you sir, have no idea! You are a myth, a legend amongst us young journalists!

QUESTION!!!: What is the secret to effectively utilizing 🎩 gentleman power🎩 to achieve one's life goals?

With great admiration! 😍

Mr Nos E. Prick

Dear Mr. Prick,

It is wonderful to hear from someone who holds me in the regard I have earned over the course of my life. I do not understand the mechanics by which the living are able to contact me in this afterlife, nor have I really figured out how to contact others undead, but I am happy that I was able to hear from an upstanding young man as yourself.

I cannot speak on just any life path, but I do know how to achieve one's goals if such goals are in the esteemed field of journalism. The advice I will give will be obvious, though not easy to follow.

You must do anything you can in order to get the news. You may find yourself causing scandals anonymously so that you can be the one to have the first story out about it. You can bend the truth if it would benefit you, because outright lies are far easier to prove than simple exaggerations.

Involve yourself with those who make headlines. Politicians, criminals, wealthy men... anyone who can give you a leg up on the competitors. Create good relationships with those who are in the thick of conflict or scandal, and they will tell you about it. Do not be afraid to portray their side of the story. Outrage still pays the bills. If you desire more advice, I could go on and on, though I would hate to bore you.

Yours, Odie Asman
