nobody ever talks about the fact aaron helped donna carry her laundry in early season 2 of mcd. like i haven’t seen a single person talk about it despite how fucking cute it was??? like he hadn’t even revealed his name to aphmau yet- but he still helped this older woman carry her laundry across town because she was struggling to do it by herself. I don't know how to feel about Aarmau. Honestly, I have so many mixed feelings.

Some fans just make so cool fanart for it!! Two in particular. Of their own versions of the ship. And it's so!!/pos

Honestly, I have always been one to fix things in my rewrites instead of just writing characters off. To see the faults but also the potential and change what was wrong instead of erasing a character as a whole. So the question on is Aarmau is good also depends on if you mean canon or not. Of course, I hate it in canon! But there's so much wrong with canon. And they are like that because of Jess and Jason's relation, she doesn't realise it's wrong. And so much else falls under that category too. Of characters that weren't MEANT to be shitty because Jess doesn't think their actions are even if they are. Like ghost, as a prime example. Where do you draw the line? What do you do when what they did was bad but it's never treated as such within the narrative? And can you really blame people for still enjoying the leftover crumbs and baking their own cookies out of them?

For making their own take on Aarmau.

We all have made our own versions of the characters in our heads anyway. What's the harm in someone shipping it if they erase the age gap and other icky stuff?
