i always really adored OFF's sprite style cuz turning pencil drawings into pixels gives off some great uneasy vibes. so i thought why not try that on Bon, and then a couple of other guys as well

While we're dunking on callout posts (good) I would especially like to dunk on the kind of callout posts that are like:

"<OP> is a <particular kind of bigot> here's our 20 page google doc of proof":

A completely innocuous joke that the OP made which is only bigoted if you approach it with the worst faith possible

A ton of screencaps that provide nothing except to pad the google doc

Screencaps of someone else just randomly having their own beef with OP that they're airing publicly for literally no reason

Evidence that seems to suggest OP might be a member of the minority identity they're supposedly bigoted against

Evidence that OP likes a television series that tumblr currently hates

Evidence that OP likes something which, if you jump through a professional-dog-show number of hoops, can be linked to something bigoted

An out-of-context blurb which is probably what started all the drama and again only looks bad if you read it with intentionally bad faith

A passing reference to the fact that OP has profusely apologized but that's evidence that they're bad according to the callout post

Discord screenshots of someone who's clearly the aggressor interacting with OP trying to make them admit something

Evidence that OP is maybe just a little bit annoying, as if that's a crime on the Cringe Website

And then all the notes on the post are like "#omg I had no idea" "#blocking them #stay safe everyone" or "#god I always knew they were weird"

Next time I see that I'm taking someone's teeth.

I think we, as a general community, need to start taking this little moment more seriously.

This, right here? This is asking for consent. It’s a legal necessity, yes, but it is also you, the reader, actively consenting to see adult content; and in doing so, saying that you are of an age to see it, and that you’re emotionally capable of handling it.

You find the content you find behind this warning disgusting, horrifying, upsetting, triggering? You consented. You said you could handle it, and you were able to back out at any time. You take responsibility for yourself when you click through this, and so long as the creator used warnings and tags correctly, you bear full responsibility for its impact on you.

“Children are going to lie about their age” is probably true, but that’s the problem of them and the people who are responsible for them, not the people that they lie to.

If you’re not prepared to see adult content, created by and for adults, don’t fucking click through this. And if you do, for all that’s holy, don’t blame anyone else for it.

I couldn’t decide what colors I liked for my persona better, so I just did both. (Close ups are on the background, which didn’t change color, then the character w/ both types of colorings)

by the way, for people who don't understand what the issue with "delulu" is, let me put it this way. i know a kid who uses delulu in day to day speech to refer to her crushes, or her favorite fictional ships, or other people liking things she doesn't. this is common. one day, she found out from an ex friend of mine that i used to honestly believe i was the second coming of jesus christ. when she asked me about it, i told her it was a delusion. she said "honey, you're not delusional, you're straight up insane." if non-psychotics take "delusional" and make it mean anything less than what it does mean, it leaves us with no word less than insane, or nuts, or crazy.
