Is Audible worth it? I just want to finally listen to all of the Thrawn books (I love the snippets I've heard of Marc Thompson's voice), but will I actually save anything? Or would it be better to buy them individually?
Audible is $14.95/month aka 1 credit per month or 1 free book per month, but the Thrawn audiobooks range from a little less to a little more than $15 each. There is a plan that is $119.50/year, that give you 12 credits.
Buying books individually: $171.25
Monthly plan: $179.40
Yearly plan: $119.50
But once I get these books, I'll probably never use it again seeing as I don't really listen to audiobooks.
If you couldn't tell this was me thinking outloud, I problem solve better when I'm speaking to someone else.

↪ grand admiral thrawn for @sadrobotinabowlerhat
I looked up "Thrawn/reader" fics on AO3 and what do you mean there are only 252!!? Only 5,874 under "Thrawn." Have I been gaslighting myself into thinking he's more popular than he is? Like I know the Thrawn Fandom is niche but I didn't expect there to be a real possibility of running out of content.
Suddenly remembered that Thrawn went from cadet to Grand Admiral in 12 years in a alien hating society. Icon.
Hey do you guys think Thrawn even has a clear memory of what Thrass's face looked like. You know. Considering the time it's been since Thrass died.
THIS LOOKS SO FRICKING GOOOOOOD!
TUKK TALES: The Rescue - A Clone Wars Fan Film | Teaser Trailer
I knew nothing about this and it’s just awesome! What a dedication to a fandom!
Proposal: The Kaminoans found Jango Fett to be a prime subject for cloning not only for his mental and physical prowess and training, but also because he was asexual and they wanted their army to not form relationships with civilians. They did not count on the fact that sexuality, much like M-count, cannot be replicated.
Thus leading to the abundance of hidden relationships formed throughout the clone ranks with Jedi, senators, and civies.
Just watched the Ahsoka trailer and I'm very nervous for Thrawn’s character. Disney is very bad about making characters Good or Evil, when many of them are super complex.
Thrawn is a guy who did what he had to do to protect his people. He was trying to amass a following to take to the Chiss to help in a war they were struggling to win. He let himself be exiled for that. But because he worked for the Empire and made some overtly bad decisions in Rebels (never in the books, he was pissed when Pryce murdered a bunch of innocent civilians) they're going to turn him into an evil monster that Must Be Defeated.
Nevermind the fact that Ezra literally murdered everyone in Thrawn's entire fleet by space-whaling them.
have star wars writers (dave) considered that i dont want thrawn to be evil i want him to be complex. i want him to get into Shenanigans with ezra. i want him to go home and see eli & all of his girlboss friends. i want him to meet his sister. i don’t want him to be evil let sloane bring back the empire!! let her be the evil girlboss!!
I want a book/show where the main "heroes" are the children of widely known villains, but instead of the whole repent for the father's sins thing they're incredibly proud that their dad helped build the Death Star.
I might write this.
