Thrass: My brother is so annoying, he keeps on making problems for himself.
Thurfian: I agree, Mitth'raw'nuruodo is a issue and a stain on the pride of our house.
Thrass:
Thrass: 'the f*ck did you say about my brother?!
When I tell you I started SCREAMING!!!
I started hearing whispers, about Thrawn's return. As HEIR TO THE EMPIRE.
I need him to face what he's done and feel regret, on some primal level. I need him to reconcile with himself. I need him to face reality, and choose the Acendancy. And become who he was before again, even if it's not an exact copy. I want my Thrawn back 🥺
Not to have raw emotion in this Chili’s tonight, but I’m imagining Ezra getting taken to the Ascendancy and realizing that the cold, somewhat callous man who enabled Hera’s cold-blooded torture and presented him to a Sith Lord on a silver platter is...rather beloved, if controversial.
(Ezra is a Jedi—he does not let his anger consume him, but this time he’s resisting a mixture of that and confusion)
to be clear. Ezra’s feelings are absolutely valid in this scenario. He does not have to get cured of any dislike for Thrawn just by seeing how the Chiss he’s close to think of him. But it’s definitely something I’d want any writer who takes this path in canon to consider.
bonus: the Chiss hearing Ezra’s (and very many imperials with them) testimony about Thrawn’s actions under the empire and *them* needing to reconcile that Thrawn, who, while a trigger-happy on preemptive strikes, generally cared, is the same person who they’re hearing about committing cold military acts and nearly bombing a planet into submission.
Thrawn to Ar'alani, Thrawn: Treason
As it should be.

Ahsoka trailer: name drops Heir to the Empire
Me: HERE’S HOW WE COULD STILL GET MARA JADE
target audience of less than ten individuals
I still remember the first time that I watched TCW...my first thoughts were:
• Since when was Anakin a knight? (Keep in mind I had watched RoTS a hundred times.)
• Anakin has a padawan? This can't be right, whoever thought that this would be a good idea?
• Is Anakin still Obi-Wan's padawan or not? Because I feel like he is.
So, my conclusion is that Anakin is in fact still a padawan and Ahsoka is just along for the ride, and Obi-Wan needs a drink. But we all already knew that.
How many times do you think Admiral Ar'alani rolled her eyes at Eli saying "Thrawn got court marshalled" or "Thrawn upset other political/military leaders" while he was recapping the past few years in the Empire to her after being stationed with the Ascendancy?
Some portraits I painted as I’m reading the Thrawn Ascendancy books. Here’s how my brain manifested their characters looking like. Thanks Tim Zahn for the minimal descriptions so my brain can run wild
Everytime I need to fake cry I think about Fives screaming for Echo at the Citadel.
Welcome, I have no consistency and will rant every few hours for weeks about a random topic and then not post for months 🙃
