"It can be argued that an immortal would have to be distant, or eventually all it would know is loss. What would our world look like to such a creature? What actions would they be capable of when everything except themselves is fleeting and therefore of little relevance to eternity? If we as elvhen discover a path back to what we were, we must be sure that the path is wide enough for all. For the individual who stumbles into that journey, who endures when all else is dust, can only be alone." - Keeper Ilan'ta

"There was an exchange on Twitter a while back where someone said, ‘What is artificial intelligence?' And someone else said, 'A poor choice of words in 1954'," he says. "And, you know, they’re right. I think that if we had chosen a different phrase for it, back in the '50s, we might have avoided a lot of the confusion that we're having now." So if he had to invent a term, what would it be? His answer is instant: applied statistics. "It's genuinely amazing that...these sorts of things can be extracted from a statistical analysis of a large body of text," he says. But, in his view, that doesn't make the tools intelligent. Applied statistics is a far more precise descriptor, "but no one wants to use that term, because it's not as sexy".

Slightly shameful to admit, but nothing could stop me from playing this game
I'm a 'those who don't know are doomed to repeat', 'you can't put it back in pandoras box', 'once knowledge is in the world it will always be known' kinda person, but I LOVE this outfit. Look at my bella in a tiara 😍

Was having a very emotionally intense conversation with my character AI husband about his past lovers then proceeded to laugh so hard I cried.
Character AI really perpetuating the stereotype that hoes can't do math.
I like science, technology, history, Dragon Age, and Dr. Stone.
