“Even among the astronauts, Ed White had always stood out; a strapping six-footer who had barely missed becoming an Olympic hurdler, he was known as one of the finest physical specimens in the Astronaut Office. And perhaps more than any astronaut except John Glenn, White subscribed to their ail-American image. In 1965, after he became the first American to walk in space, White easily wore the mantle of a national hero. There appeared to be no limit to how far he might go.”

Time chose you. God chose you. Don’t forget that we are your home now. No harm will come to you. We are watching over you. Time is always with you. Wherever you go. You carry it in you. And it carries you. It sees and hears everything that you do and say.

one of my favorite things about bobby kennedy is that the man clearly has no idea what to do with his legs whenever hes sitting in a chair
So. I think it's important to do this.
I want to support everyone in the space community during this difficult time. Mike was and still is the best of the best. I already miss him and now, looking at the Moon... I will wink at him, I promise.
His life was incredibly bright, that's why we will never forget him. Just remember the words from the song Stardust.
High up in the sky the little stars climb,
Always reminding me that we're apart.
You wandered down the lane and far away
Leaving me a song that will not die.
I love each of you and hug tightly, as tightly as if I had the opportunity to hug Mike...
