“i can handle aetos.” xaden tells you when she leaves.

you worry your bottom lip between your teeth, “he’s going to make your life hell now.”

“so let him,” he steps closer to you, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “all that matters is that i get to see your beautiful face every day.”

you roll your eyes, “ever the charmer.”

he hums, “meet me in my room later?”

you nod and he presses a loving kiss to your forehead.

“does this mean i have to start calling you professor?”

xaden smirks, “maybe only when i have you on your back later.”

oh idk maybe the one where xaden sees his mom for the first time in like 14yrs since she abandoned him and he kind of reverts to the child he was when she did ?? violet literally finds him on the floor tucked in between furniture 💔

as someone who was abandoned as a child herself, this hit me so freaking hard dude. this entire scene and situation was pulled straight out of my own heart.

also Xaden: *immediately jumps into action to help Lynx when his shadows start manifesting, even though Xaden knows this implies his own doomed fate*

also Xaden: *literally leads an entire revolution to protect those who can't protect themselves*
