Thomas telling the truth
Roman and Janus are close in my book but if I had to choose Janus.
Comment/Reblog with your answers to these questions:
Do you think Janus’s nod after Thomas said Roman was his hero was him saying “yes, Thomas is lying” or “yes, Thomas is telling the truth”
If you were to rate the sides from favorite to least favorite, would Roman or Janus be higher up on the scale?

DUKE will be making an appearance as a villain. There are no ifs ands or buts. I already made an exception to Deceit for the fact that I honestly believe he's trying to help Thomas in his own way. Deceit had to deal with keeping the dark sides locked away. A guard of sorts. But when Remus/Duke mentioned Deceit had told him that the cell he was basically locked in was no longer guarded. Deceit in my eyes was technically a protector trying to keep Thomas from beating himself up. As Anxiety said the dark sides are messed up as Remus had shown. Deceit is definitely twisted but he hasn't shown signs of being incapable of change. So there's my answer.

Summary: The gang is heading to Roman’s home, all while Logan is having a small fit about having to hang out with Apate. (Oh! And Logan will not forever be angry with Apate.)
The school day was over, and Apate was walking with his brother to his left, and Patton to his right. Patton of course was next to Logan as well and he had something against Apate. Emile and Remy stood side by side, holding hands. Apate was curious, but he wasn’t going to ask now as that could be uncomfortable to answer now. Roman lead the pack, as they made turns that Apate didn’t even recognize.
“So...Patton...where does Roman live?” Apate, tilted his head confused, and Patton smiled.
“You’ll see. I know Virgil went once alone, but they never explained what happened.” Patton explained, Virgil’s face becoming red.
“It was his way of apologizing okay!” Virgil exploded, Roman turning around only to comfort Virgil. Apate was confused, always so sure that his brother was ace. Apate ended up dispelling the thought not wanting to bring up the topic of relationships, knowing that he himself was never a romantic type. The group was full of small talk, and playful bantering, Apate wasn’t focused on where they were going, but when the group came to a stop, he was shocked to see where they were.
“Y-You live here?! This is awful!” Apate yelled, everyone staring at him as he blushed and hid his face.
“Yes I do. It’s not the best living arrangement but it gets the job done.” Roman, said as he placed a code into a large gate, and then led the group towards the large double doors of his home.
“This is living terribly?” Logan asked, now looking at Roman.
“Of course it is, I wanted the mansion to be somewhere prettier, with a beautiful view…” Roman said, waving his hands around.
“Princey are we staying over tonight, or studying and going home?” Virgil asked, and Roman turned around a bright smile on his face.
“You are welcome to stay!” Roman knocked, and a butler held the door open for him, Roman thanked the kind man, and then brought everyone to a living room, with a fireplace, which he lit for everyone to get cozy. Apate was enjoying every last bit of the warm flames.
“So! What have we all come here to study for? I have some math homework I require assistance on!” Roman yelled, making Virgil’s face light up.
“I can help with the math, if you help me with chemistry.” Virgil said, and Roman nodded.
“It’s a deal! Does anybody else need chemistry help?” Roman asked, when nobody answered, the two of them split off from the group. Logan and Patton split off together as well, and Emile and Remy left as well. Mostly because Apate, said he was fine with his homework when in all reality he needed help with english, but the one who would assist him was Logan, so Apate skipped his english homework, and lied about finishing it.
“Alrighty! Now that everyone’s done with homework how about he play games?!” Patton asked, everyone nodding their heads. Logan chose Clue, which Patton was surprisingly good at. Roman chose Twister, because when it was him and Virgil they ended up in some really awkward pose. Emile and Remy chose, truth or dare, which Apate hated. The game was fine until it was Logan’s turn, and he asked Apate.
“Truth or Dare?” Logan asked, a deadpan look on his face.
“Dare. I mean Truth...sorry.” Apate, smacked his face.
“Don’t do that Apate.” Virgil warned.
“Oh yes sorry.” Apate looked up apologetically and Logan continued with his question.
“What ever happened to your real birth parents?” Logan didn’t see the issue in asking this, he simply was curious. Roman did notice Apate’s squirming, and the tears welling up in his eyes.
“Um Logan that was a bit to soon.” Virgil said, trying to comfort his brother but failing.
“Apate? Would you like to come over to the bathroom with me? I’ll help wipe the tears from your eyes.” Emile spoke up, Apate got up and nodded, so Emile gave the group time to explain.
“I didn’t know it was sensitive.” Logan said, shrugging.
“Well, I don’t even know what happened to him. He doesn’t like to talk about it with anybody.” Virgil sighed, and then sat next to Logan.
“The only thing he’s told me, is that his old family is the reason he is a pathological liar.” Virgil said, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Hmm, I shall think over this. I still don’t like him.” Logan mumbled, Patton looking at Logan with a scowl on his face.
“Logan! That wasn’t nice.”
“It wasn’t? Oh I’m sorry I missed the part where I’ve gotten to know him for a year. You guys, Virgil’s family only adopted him over the summer. We have no knowledge on what Deceit is capable of!” Logan yelled, but not loud enough for the boy in question to hear.
“Are you angry...because we’ve gotten to like him faster than we got to liking you?” Roman asked, crossing his arms.
“No! I’m not angry! I’m just concerned that you are trusting him so easily, he’s a pathological liar! He will lie unconsciously.” Logan’s reasoning was understandable, but everyone else just wanted Apate to feel accepted.
“You two need to bond. Because honey, you two are going to have a big fight soon.” Remy said, sipping some coffee.
“Oh that’s a great idea!” Patton clapped his hands together.
“Not a great idea! I do not get along with Deceit, “Apate” as you call him. But if I were to be next to him alone I may lose my mind!” Logan yelled, throwing his hands in the air.
“Well you need to do something, because if you hurt my brother again, I’ll have to fight you.” Virgil said, his eyes fixated on Logan. Everyone was silent after that no one wanting to speak after the threat just made.
“Well, how about the lock someone in a small space game? That forces you to get close.” Remy mumbled, as both Patton and Virgil stared Logan down. Roman, was already standing up and picking Logan up, while placing him in a closet, Apate was thrown in by Virgil shortly after.
“Um...what’s going on?” Apate asked, searching for a light switch. Logan rolled his eyes, and sat Apate down.
“They want us to bond, so the door is probably being held closed, and there probably is no light switch.” Logan mumbled, and Apate listened.
“So...what should we bond about?” Apate asked, he fidgeted with his hands, now wanting to keep his lies at bay.
“How about….your quirk how does it work?” Logan asked, referring to the snake scales.
“Well! Much like a snake, I have scales, and venom, but I have to bite people. So I’m going to be a close combat fighter….” Apate messed with his shirt.
“What does the venom do?” Logan asked, looking closely at Apate.
“It enables me to paralyze people for a short amount of time.” Apate mumbled, Logan nodded his head.
“Well your turn.” Logan gestured to Apate to speak.
“So...what about your quirk?” Apate asked, messing with his hair, as Logan crossed his arms again.
“Telekinesis.” Logan stated, staring at Apate, noticing the constant fidgeting that he was showing. Apate seemed like he was still looking for an escape, or that light switch he thought to look for.
“Are you okay you look uneasy.” Logan asked, uncrossing his arms.
“I’m fine...just not a fan of the dark...I need out….” Apate’s breathing was out of sync, and Logan stood up to pound on the door. Although everyone had moved outside, the only one left inside was Remy, who was sound asleep.
“Apate, I know I hate you and everything, but….look I’m not happy about the situation, and I think that you’re the worst at telling the truth. But I don’t think anybody should have to suffer.” Logan said loudly, hoping that maybe one of the guys outside would hear him, sadly none of them did. Logan knew that they wanted him to get along with Apate, but he hated the method used. So he did what any sane person would do, and began searching for exits, leaving Apate to panic.
“HELP!” Logan’s banging on the door, scared Apate further, until the door swung open. A woman, stood on the other side.
“Logan? Are you okay?” The woman asked, she helped Logan out, along with Apate.
“Oh dear he must be terrified let me go get some tea.” She walked off, Logan shaking his head.
“Why did Roman’s mother have to find us…” Logan mumbled, bashing his head on a wall.
“Oh that’s his mom?” Apate asked, Logan turned towards Apate. He knew Apate was new to the school, and didn’t want to cause him to go back into the panicked state he was in by blowing up on him.
“Yes, she works at the school.” Logan said, and then smiled.
“She’s a teacher, and she is the kindest woman I know.” Logan stated, as she walked back in.
“Logan I love the kind words, but please don’t call me “Roman’s mother”. Just call me May.” May stated, then looking over at Apate, and handing him the tea.
“You must be the new friend Ro, was talking about.” May said, sitting up straight.
Only after getting a good look at May was when Apate began noticing her.
“Y-You’re….Imposter! The hero who can change her looks and voice, to whatever she desires.” Apate’s panic seemingly gone.
“Yes! That would be me, A bit of acting is involved, but that’s why my Ro loves to act. He’s been in several plays.” May sighed, and looked down at her ring.
“His mom would have been so happy to see how he turned out.”
“Oh? He had another mom?” Apate asked, Logan sat down and crossed his legs.
“Yes her name was Katie, Roman was just nine years old when it happened. She was the Magician like she loved to call herself, really great at causing illusions. She died during a mission. Oh Roman was so sad, but he worked really hard to make his quirk just work.” May smiled, and looked at Apate.
“I’m sorry I didn’t know.” Apate said, looking at Logan who also had no knowledge.
“Well everyone has their secrets, and everyone tells lies. Speaking of which Logan, you’re little statement of hating this poor boy for his lies is kinda mean. Heck, what about the time when you lied to your father about your grade, in which I had to keep you under watch here because you were afraid of him.” May said, causing Logan to look down and away from Apate.
“Logan is your father abusive?”

Apate was concerned for Logan, even though he knew Logan disliked him but he wasn’t going to let that get in the way of him being a nice person.
“Well, I wouldn’t say he abused me. He just, pushed me to be his successor. He didn’t exactly want me to join the hero course. And after I joined my dad freaked out, and punched me...and I had to rush out.” Logan mumbled, but then shook his head.
“I live with my aunt now, anyways.” Logan shrugged.
“Oh? Why not your mom?” Apate asked, and May heald his shoulder.
“His mother-” May began.
“My mother walked out on us.” Logan said, crossing his arms.
“She was emotionally unprepared for me, and my father broke.” Logan sighed, before looking over at the group outside by the pool.
“I’m going to go hang out with them, see you later Apate.” Logan walked away, and May looked down at Apate.
“Oh Logan will warm up to you, I’m going to make dinner for the lot of you.” May walked away leaving Apate with Remy, who was now waking up.
“Well! Honey, let’s do something fun.” Remy grabbed Apate’s hand, and dragged him towards the closet of games. Remy began by grabbing card games, and then Uno.
“Let’s do this. I wanna see your poker face.” Remy mumbled, and Apate sat down. The two of them stared at each other, a dech of cards on the table, and seven in each of their hands. The two of them played for a while, until Patton had came in asking for a cookie from May.
“Oh may I join next round?” Patton asked, sitting down at the table with his cookie.
“O-Of course not! Y-You can’t join now actually.” Apate stuttered, pinching himself for lying.
“Actually babes, you could so join. He’s still learning.” Remy saved the day, quickly dealing Patton in. Apate smiled, which was quickly replaced with his poker face as they played another game of Uno.
“Patton I thought you were coming in for a cookie! What happened to you padre?” Roman walked in, seeing the game of Uno in play.
“Oh! Padre beat Remy, and our new snakey friend!” Roman pulled a chair behind Patton, and helped him decide on what to play.
“Oh honey, that’s totally cheating. I don’t have a backseat gamer!” Remy stated pointing at Patton in the process. The two of them just laughed it off, as they played a plus four on Remy, who placed another plus four on top. Apate was stunned at the turn of events, and looked up in utter disbelief.
“R-Remy….why…?” Apate stuttered, as he drew eight cards.
“I didn’t want to draw four cards.” Remy stated, no remorse in his voice. Soon enough Virgil, and Emile walked in, both assisting Remy in his goal to beat everyone. The only ones missing were Thomas and Logan, which Apate ignored. The game ended, and dinner was ready, so May went to gather the boys for a meal.
“You are free to eat as much as you’d like.” May stated, before walking off to go and eat in her study.
“Why didn’t she eat out here with us? You know like she usually does?” Emile asked, Roman looking down at his plate.
“She’s just been a little occupied with somethings.” Roman stated, everyone but Apate looking up at Roman.
“Are you guys okay? Is she in need of money?” Patton asked, clear worry in his voice, at this Apate looked up.
“No! No...she’s just thinking about my future. She wants me to follow my dreams, and that was to become a famous actor before...things came up. And I decided, that instead a hero was needed instead.” Roman mumbled, messing with a ring on his finger.
“She wants me to try auditioning for a role in a movie...where I could be a hero. She said my quirk even fit the bill.” Roman stated, looking down.
“That would mean I’d have to drop from the hero course.” Roman mumbled, everyone gasping, Apate didn’t know much about Roman. All he did know was that Roman clearly wanted the role, but was conflicted with his want to become a hero. So Apate, stared at Roman searching for a sign of what he really wanted to do.
“What do you want to do?” Apate asked, and Roman looked over sadly. He knew his goals were, but he also knew what he wanted at the time.
“I want to stay with you guys.” Roman sighed, propping his head up with his hand.
“Are you sure? Because normally when someone says what they want they seem more enthusiastic about their choice.” Apate said, Patton nodding his head.
“Oh I’m sure you could get a schedule adjustment so you can stay in the course.” Logan suggested, Virgil nodded his head.
“Well I could but that means I’m not dedicated to the movie, and that could make them rethink me being there for the part.” Roman groaned, he was torn up. His friends wanted him to follow his dreams, but he had two separate dreams.
“I have an idea! You don’t have to be apart of that movie!” Emile said, his voice being heard throughout the house.
“What do you mean Emi?” Remy asked, everyone looking at the said person in question.
“Why don’t we all start a drama club?!” Emile yelled, everyone else kind of perking up to the idea.
“That’s a splendid idea! Well let’s get on it!” Roman stated, already rushing to his room to get a pencil and paper. Everyone else began making their roles, as Apate separated himself from the group.
“I’ll be the director!” Patton yelled, as Roman scolded him, saying that wasn’t going to be established until a show was scheduled.
“We need a club leader, and that should be mua!” Roman stated, and everyone rolled their eyes.
“Vice president should be Thomas!” Patton yelled, everyone nodding their heads in agreement.
“Logan can be the club schedule organizer.” Virgil suggested, Logan nodding his head.
“Virgil you can be the clubs treasurer. Since you seem to be the quickest to notice small changes.” Roman said, Virgil snapping his fingers.
“Oh! Could I be club counselor?!” Emile smiled, and Remy smirked.
“Of course! And Remy could be your assistant.” Roman said, as he finished writing down all the roles; Roman realized that Apate didn’t get assigned a role, and he didn’t want to feel like a jerk for not letting Apate participate.
“Apate what about you? Would you like a job?” Roman asked, as Apate shook his head.
“I’m quite alright.” Apate was lying but this was easy for him to do. As for staying over for the night, Apate didn’t want to walk home late at night; so he was fine staying with his brother and friends. Apate picked up his notebook, and walked into the living room. He still had that English work from earlier to finish, and he tried his hardest. Though he was not confident in his answers, and he had wished he’d asked for help. So once again Apate shut his notebook, and shut his eyes.
“Hey Apate wanna go swi-...oh.” Roman walked in to see a sleeping Apate.
“Roman! Let’s just swim without him.” Virgil said, as he walked upstairs to get changed.

Summary: Deceit gets a new name, new found friends, and a singular enemy.
At Class
“What do you mean not ready yet? Haven’t you been working on it since you were twelve?” Virgil asked Deceit, who blushed and nodded.
“W-Well no, I was just um….yes...I just love it. And it looks amazing.” Deceit softly said, causing Logan to roll his eyes.
“Then why can’t you show us it.” Logan’s voice was cold, and Deceit hid by Virgil. Sure Virgil was okay with his brother hiding, but he also didn’t feel like having Deceit, constantly searching for him to protect him. Virgil sighed though, he knew that the first day was rough for himself as well.
“What D meant to say was that his outfit isn’t ready yet, and he hates the way it looked.” Virgil saved Deceit who looked up at him happily.
“Thank...you.” he struggled to say it, but he did because he was genuinely glad that Virgil helped him.
“No problem, hey Princey how about helping him later with his outfit. Maybe tell him the story about how you and I met.” Virgil suggested, Roman shot his head up from Deceit, and nodded.
“He will be the third most stylish hero around!” Roman said, Virgil rolling his eyes. Everyone was having a good time except for Logan, he just saw all the times Deceit lied, and eventually got up altogether and moved to his own seat, avoiding Deceit at all costs.
“Oh and Deceit, is that your real name or...is it like a hero name in progress?” Patton asked, which even Logan turned his head over to listen in on the conversation.
“Well, it’s my name…because that is what my parents named me….” Deceit shuffled in place, clearly uneasy. He knew it seemed far fetched, but it was the truth he was named Deceit by his birth parents, and well he was at a point where changing it seemed absurd to him.
“Really? That’s really unique.” Roman said, straining his voice a bit. Patton and Virgil saw how nervous Deceit was, but it was probably because he had so much pent up lying that he was going to burst out lying to everyone in front of him.
“Deceit if you need to lie go right ahead, you know I can somewhat translate what you’re trying to say.” Virgil mumbled, pulling out a piece of paper, ready to translate whatever Deceit said, and hand it to Patton and Roman.
“Well you see Roman you’re so unfashionable.” Deceit began a list of lies, all while Logan sat at his desk ignoring the comments, that were rather harsh, and quite mean. He didn’t understand how the others could take such berating at the hands of a liar. Logan didn’t want to tell his friends that they should stop feeding into Deceit’s lies but how could he. They clearly cared about Deceit, though their short period of time together shouldn’t have given them enough time to create a bond. So as class started, Logan just planned how he would potentially avoid Deceit.
Class came to an end hours later, and they were all heading to lunch, where Deceit, had grown accustomed to sitting alone at lunch. So when he was offered to sit with Virgil and Roman, you could say he was a bit surprised.
“Hey guys.” Deceit sat next to them and Roman perked up, though his hand never left Virgil’s.
“So! I was thinking and of course Virgil will help. We help find you a real name that doesn’t sound like a hero name!” Roman was ecstatic, while Virgil and Deceit seemed rather uncomfortable with the idea.
“Well the idea is bad, but I can’t keep my old name.” Deceit facepalmed, he meant to speak in truth but Virgil had already explained to Roman that Deceit normally didn’t mean things unless he felt threatened, or extra passionate about something.
“Well yeah, it’s nice because I came up with it but you do need to have a real name and a hero name. How about….Nixon?” Roman suggested, clearly getting the idea from Richard Nixon.
“Yes.” Deceit mumbled, his eyes flickering to his food as he munched on it.
“Okay, can we use a stand in name like...oh! Apate. It’s a goddess of deception!” Roman suggested.
“Oh until we find the missing piece, which is my “real” name?” Deceit asked, he liked the idea of having a woman's name, as names didn’t have genders.
“Apate. I actually like the ring to that D, maybe we should think of a new name for you, so I don’t have to scream Deceit across the halls and mom yell at me because of it.”
“Do you think mom would like the new name idea?” Deceit asked, he was uneasy about changing his name and wanted acceptance of his family, friends were just a plus.
“Of course she would, dad would too, when he gets back from Japan.” Virgil said, clearly not comfortable talking about his father.
“Oh Virgil, he’ll be back.” Roman pulled Virgil in for a hug, granted it was short lived, as the two pulled away in a fiery blush. Deceit shrugged it off, taking it as nothing out of place for the two.
“So...Virgil how did you and Roman meet?” Deceit asked, munching on his food.
“Oh...a story for another time Apate.” Virgil said softly giggling, he stared at Roman, only to get a glare in return.
Apate (Deceit), smiled he loved his new found friends, even if one of their friends hated him. He didn’t want to lose the rest of them.
“Oh! Deceit! There you are!”
Apate turned around seeing Emile, and someone else behind him.
“Oh hey Emile.” Apate smiled, and waved.
“Oh you know Emile?” Roman asked, removing his hand from Virgil’s clearly not wanting anyone else to see.
“Oh yeah we met when he helped me to class.” Apate smiled, and then stared at the person behind Emile.
“Oh this is Remy, he isn’t much for small talk as he is for gossip.” Emile said, a soft smile gracing his face. Remy sat down on one side of Apate, and Emile on the other.
“Oh! Emile, we are all trying to help Deceit here find a new name, so Deceit can be his hero name!” Roman yelled, clapping his hands together.
“Oh that’s a wonderful idea! How about Dolo?” Emile, suggested, which Apate cringed to.
“It’s not my favorite name but I’ll keep it in mind.” Apate said a soft smile on his face.
“Well that’s a great start! Anyways, I see you’ve managed to get more friends.” Emile said, point at Roman and Virgil.
“Oh well Virgil and I are brothers...not-”
“Oh I know that.”
Apate was cut off by Emile, his head tilting to the side. He looked at Virgil who smiled back.
“I know about you two’s love hate relationship, Virgil talks about you all the time. But don’t worry, Virgil does bring up some rather sweet points about you as well.” Emile smiled, holding his hands together, as Remy laid his head against Apate. Emile sighed, knowing that Remy was tired, after all he was helping him out with somethings going on in his own life.
“Well, maybe we all should meet up after school! I’m sure Patton and Logan would love to join us!” Emile suggested, and everyone looked at each other.
“I think that’s a lovely idea! Who’s house shall we go to?” Roman asked, Virgil and Emile looking at him.
“Yours.” They said in unison, leaving Apate utterly confused.

Completely honest...it threw me off my game.... I love Voltron. Dedicated a lot of my time analyzing and staring at random scenes. I myself am a Klance shipper...and yes Allurance was the last ship for the season. I'd still like to say that I disagreed with the ship. It felt to rushed. In my opinion. On another note I figured it was Allurance rebounding so I expected Lance ending up with someone else. It gave hope for Klance. Which didn't happen...it ended with Lance who I truly care about being hurt. That's not exactly...good. But I will admit...the scenes with Allurance was very comforting because Lance looked happy! Allura died saving the universe...that left Lance genuinely hurt. Idk why but I want to say something that will give me a ton of backlash from the season 8 Voltron protectors...It wasn't a good season period. We are all still left with unanswered questions. And like I said with Allurance being rushed the season was too. But that doesn't mean it didn't have good in it. The end credits were some what satisfying. Everything kinda clicked. With the pictures of everyone's successes, it's difficult for me to say otherwise. Now...may the Voltron Fandom learn from the show...Peace will always be the answer...
He is the therapist of the group, and he enjoys helping everyone.
He let’s Roman into his room at night when he needs help with his love life.
Emile, will always have everything on him, just like a concerned mom.
Emile will sometimes cosplay, and convince the others to do it with him
“Pleeeeassse Remy! I wanna go as Lance, could you please go as Keith?!”
“Whhhyyyyy...”
“Because! You’re like the best Keith ever.”
“But I don’t wanna, that’s to much workkk....”
“Fine. I’ll go ask Roman.”
“Give me the jeggings, and the skin tight boots!”
Emile and Remy are both taller than Deciet, Emile being taller than Virgil by just a bit.
Emile can be found, in the library with Logan.
Emile doesn’t mind being pulled from a conversation to help his friends with a very stressing situation.
He works, hard to make sure all his friends are okay.
Emile’s quirk is actually just shape shifting.
He is a huge nerd by the way did I mention that.
So like I was thinking about this for a while and I now just want to draw for this a lot now. Granted I’ll also be writing the story to go along with it I do want to say my arts not that great and I am still learning! But here’s my HeadCanons for this.
Deciet is similar to Bakugou in a sense that he wants to be a hero but is really messed up.
He speaks in lies still.
Him and Virgil are siblings and they have a love hate relationship going on there
Deciets quirk would be like venom that paralyzes his enemy but he flat out has to bite them.
He is bff’s with Roman because well… I’ll get into that later…
He is always making Logan confused with his lies.
He’d ask Remy (sleep) to knock Virgil out so he didn’t need to feel the glare on his back after he did something he shouldn’t have
Would constantly be getting in trouble.
“D…why is Logan paralyzed again?”
“I have no idea…”
He has a love for snakes…
And is a big nerd when it comes to them
Secretly cares for everyone around him
Oh and totally doesn’t know how to swim.
I use all pronouns, I am demiromantic (I think....I'm still figuring myself out.)
