Essence Of An INTP

You can build an entire cosmology from the wreckage left by storms; from earthquakes and volcanoes, from falling stars, from the scarring of frost and fire. The stories of gods are buried within our own natural histories.

the “did you have lunch? it’s alright, just have dinner a little early!” kind of friendships. the “are you in the mental space to listen right now” kind of friendships. the “i’ll just send a voice note for later” kind of friendships. friendships where you respect each other’s emotional boundaries. friendships where you remind them to have lunch but make sure you are not burdening them with it. friendships where you communicate. friendships where you are on your own individual journeys but are navigating life together. friendships which help you grow. healthy friendships. i think we have talked much about the pain of losing a friend. let’s also talk about the joy of having one.

a cold wind and the warm lights of the city in the dark evening air as you walk home after a long day

long, misty weekend morning walks in the countryside, wearing wellies and a waxed jacket older than you

embracing the coming winter season by focusing on what is essential, spending less time on your phone and more time on consistently working on your tasks before december comes

the atmosphere of a wood-paneled neighbourhood restaurant, olives and glasses of champagne at the table, tiramisu for dessert

reading in your favourite armchair, a soft white jumper and woollen socks keeping you warm

drug of choice? teachers complimenting my standard of work
