~ You can pour love into the world from where you are, here and now. ~ . Not needing to wait till you are 'perfect', till all of your ideas have fallen into place, you can breathe into your purpose, as you are today. . To fill yourself first before filling others, to love yourself first before loving others, to heal yourself first, before you heal others, that is all this journey asks.

~ Favorite stills from Episode 2 of Traveler (S2). I think I fell as hard for Tango as the three boys and for some reason, it was so believable that Kang Ha Neul would shop a turquoise charm necklace and carry it like it belonged to his body. ❤ ~

Drama: Meteor Garden (2018) Character: Huaze Lei Actor: Darren Chen
I became a hardcore Huaze Lei fan right off the bat. Warm, kind, suffering from a mild case of childhood autism, Lei spelled f.r.i.e.n.d.s.h.i.p. for me.✨
Even though he's part of the F4 and Ah Si's best friend, I totally ship the course of his friendship with Shancai, through the drama.✨
Like a shadow, he was there exactly when she needed him and vice versa. They leaned on each other, picked each other up, pushed each other to grow and displayed this pure, unconditional love reminiscent of soft, glowing stars.✨

It’s the middle of a working Tuesday and here I am, sharing a little love note from the beautiful Japanese (YouTube) series ‘Kitchen for Singles (2019)’. 🌸
Hope it makes your heart warm.
Went with the Nanus to eat Manchurian Dosa and Schezwan Cheese Frankie at Ghatkopar, on a whim. 👯♀️
The Manchurian was green oniony, hot, sour, and garlicky. The chutney was a refreshing contrast against the heat of the Manchurian. The dosa was beautifully soft and yum. 🤤
Unfortunately, it was too dark to take a photo of the Schezwan Cheese Frankie. But it ticked all the boxes --- flaky, crispy cover, potato filling that was heartily assembled with cheese and a generous addition of onions (my favorite part is their crunch), and the goodness of Indian Chinese's version of Schezwan sauce.🤤

Sometimes I don’t feel like clicking the whole page. At such times, I really wanted to appreciate the individual stickers, prints, washi and sequins through my photos.
~ A very proud moment for me. I completed a 100 blog posts of original, heartwork yesterday evening.
This blog has been a source of comfort, creativity, fulfillment and a space where I’ve learned the joy of putting in consistent work to build something from scratch.
The feeling is indescribable and for everyone here, supporting my journey, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Turning this into a beautiful memory today.🌼🥑 ~
A bit about Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories -
This is a collection of short stories that happen in a diner in Tokyo, Japan. The owner of this diner is called ‘Master’ and he becomes a catalyst in either bringing people together or tying lose ends of a tale. Often serving as the voice of wisdom, his diner opens at midnight and shuts shop at 7 each morning.
The stories in themselves are beautiful depictions of human emotions. They are positive, light and simple. Food serves as a connector between the people who visit the diner and is often the reason for new friendships and love interests.
Here are a few favorite stills of mine from the Episode 1, Season 1.
All images here are screenshots from the show and are owned by Netflix. I don’t own any copyrights to them.
I will get straight to the point: ‘Itaewon Class’ has been radical, powerful, inspiring and downright bomb. It is such a refreshing show and I am so glad to have watched it during this phase of my life.
The story centers around Park Saeroyi, a high school student who gets suspended for standing up against a bully and refusing to apologize for it. Even as life continues to knock him down, Saeroyi decides to get back up each time. His end goal is to bring down his rival, Chairman Jang Dae-Hee of the renowned food corporation, Janga.Co. As a part of his plan, Saeroyi decides to open his own pub in bustling Itaewon. Along the way, he meets and embraces a troupe of societal misfits who become the backbone of DanBam (his pub).
My Learnings from Itaewon Class:
1. Follow your gut, through and through.
I love Saeroyi for having such deep-rooted conviction in his beliefs and in his intuition. While he pursues his goal with logic and passion, it is his open heart that guides him through every rise and fall.
2. Be flexible; that's how you always remain a learner.
Another thing that I love about Saeroyi is the way he accepts new information and new mannerisms. He is open to suggestions, accepts when he is being stuck-up and rectifies his mistakes by learning how to be flexible.
3. Believe in yourself even when nobody does.
Man, this is such a spectacular thing to watch in Saeroyi, Yi-Seo and Hyeon-yi. Even when the world is against them, these 3 continue believing in themselves and that's exactly why they achieve remarkable things.
4. Have a vision for yourself.
It is delightful to meet goal-driven, visionary, Park Saeroyi even when he is far from where he wants to be. It is the vision that he's created for his life that drives him to be better and do better. Each act, word and thought is channeled for this vision and I loved, loved learning this from him.
5. Nobody can move mountains alone.
I love the DanBam family. I love how they have each other's back. I love seeing Saeroyi find a family once again. The people of DanBam prove that moving mountains is collective effort, not a solo job.

"Overthinking is a habit that we create when we feel unsafe. It's the the mind's attempt to predict the future. It's the illusion that we can 'think' our way into security. The truth is we cannot control anything external. Mantra for overthinking: I am choosing peace in this present moment. ❤
