We will show them pictures of sidewalks, shops, and houses surrounded by empty grass without any flowers or vegetables and they will stare at them like we stared at pictures of grimy children working in coal mines

this is the first time i've written a song with a tempo change in the middle--i was trying to channel the beatles admittedly. because i can't seem to write anything that isn't somewhat niche and bizarre, this one is a love song featuring characters from a cult puzzle game series.
