You know what goodness is? Seb creating Instagram after years and years of never wanting to just so he could be the one to personally tell his fans he is retiring. He didn't want the annoucement to be impersonal and that makes him such a beautiful individual.

i think there’s a difference between feeling sad when you listen to one of her songs about him like, right now, and refusing to ever listen to them again. it hasn’t even been 24 hours. & considering we’re all discussing it on here, it’d be pretty hard to listen to the great war (as an example) and not think about them. so people talking about how cornelia street (as another example) makes them too sad to listen to it just isn’t that big of a deal. (but saying the entire second half of her discography is “ruined” IS.)
