If anyone had told Y/n that she would’ve been successful on her journey to being a doctor, she probably would’ve laughed at them out of disappointment for their delusions. Y/n L/n is a 29 years old med student of the Harvard University who made one decision that changed her life forever.

Y/n was 26 years old at the time when she went out it’s her coarse mates to celebrate making it through another year without any major mistakes, only for her to wake up in the bed of the billionaire Toto Wolff the next morning. A few months later, she found herself back in his house, wailing as she revealed the problem being that she was pregnant. Toto was surprised a bit, seeming of his age and fertility issues yet he was happy and accepted to stay full heartedly.

Toto supported and helped her with her studies during her pregnancy and took the baby with him to work so she could focus on her studies after their baby boy was born. Overtime the two had bonded and became a couple.

Y/n and Toto had been married for six years and had a son by the name Silas Wolff who is now four years old. Their marriage was once the kind that authors would write about in fictions or romance novels and poets would write rhymes for, until it wasn’t. Y/n had allowed her family to push themselves in, convincing her that their age gap was too wide and that he was too busy all the time and that their child was being neglected because of it with a lot of other reasons that poisoned her mind against her now ex-husband. For Toto is was kind of a similar case where he was told that she was too young for him and that she’d leave for someone younger, that she would be demanding all his attention which would cause him to slack from his job amongst other things. This caused a huge split in their lives due to arguments and fights, ignoring each other and even leaving for days at a time on rare occasions. The last straw was a third miscarriage since they were trying for another child where months later they decided to call it quits.

Their baby boy Silas was deeply affected by this as he wasn’t used to living in separate houses and having to see one parent at a time and so his behaviour drastically changed for the bad. He was usually very talkative around his parents, making silly kids jokes and wanting to be apart of everything going on, yet these days he seemed to be distant and shy almost very uninterested and dull.

It was Toto’s weekend to have Silas seeming that he is homeschooled he’s able to travel anywhere. Toto had joke gotten him ready to go to the paddock and was putting on his own shoes when he heard his son sniffling. Looking back he saw the tears pooling me immediately picked him up. “Silas buddy, what’s wrong, you not feeling well? Over the course of the last three weeks, Y/n had been facing problems from Max’s dad, Jose, who kept telling her that she was a distraction and that he didn’t know what Max saw in her, going to the extent of questioning Tai’s paternity. Throughout this entire time, not once had Max defended her since he decided to just sit back and laugh; agreeing with his father. This made Y/n doubt the standing of their relationship with the final straw being pulled after Y/n saw circulating photos of Max and Kelly Piquet paired up with her daughter as they looked more like a family than with his own child.

Over the passing years, Jose seemed to have regret his actions towards his former daughter-in-law and granddaughter as he saw how sad his son had become whenever Lewis would appear with Tai on his hip playing with Roscoe and her new grandpa Anthony.

Everyone knew how unfocused Lewis was when it came to relationships. Before now he had taken a break from that part of life and had become a bit distant from a lot of things and people to focus on himself as he said, but what if that wasn’t the full truth?

These days, Lewis could be spotted always typing away on his phone, the AirPods are no longer in use for music, he is always in a way more positive mode than usual as he just overall looked extremely happy it almost hurts.

Toto, Bono, Angela, Susie and George watched on as the Mercedes driver smiled every time he read a message, replying quickly before waiting impatiently for a reply from the person involved in the conversation from the other side.

He was as giddy as a high school boy who finally got recognised by his crush and they were enjoying the view. At first they had no idea what was going on and so it wasn’t until George had secretly overseen Lewis receive a message one day that it was cleared. From the understanding of George the name of the girl was Y/n and that was all they know.

Today was the same with Lewis walking around grinning widely as he typed away at his phone while everyone watched on with smiles and smirks at his behaviour. Today is a not so busy day as it is media day. Majority of the interviews have already been done, so Lewis is on his very last one, when he spots HER. The woman he had spent the previous night with, who is also the journalist that had interviewed him before everyone else this morning.

Watching as she walks past, not realising he was standing there, she makes her way for the exit. he turns back to the current Journalist in front of him, hoping that she would hurry with her questions so that he can catch the beautiful woman who walked pass before she leaves for the hotel.

A few minutes later, he answers the last question, says his farewell then speedwalk towards the journalism department, yet when he arrived was informed that she had already left. A deep sigh falls from Lewis' lips, a stressed expression on his face as he thanks the lady's coworker and leaves towards the hotel...the same hotel that everyone including the woman he was hunting also resides for the race week.

Upon arrival to the hotel, he quickly goes up to his room, take shower, straighten his room and clean up whatever mess was made that morning before leaving his room to her. On the walk there, Lewis reflected on the night they had; the intimate talk, the sharing of hopes and goals, let's not forget the passionate lovemaking that had taken place that relaxed his body, mind and soul in a way nothing or no one had been able to do before.

Coming to a stop at her room door, he take a few deep breaths before knocking on the door. after a minute, the door opens but its not the person he expects. The genuine advice you gave, the warm and comforting aura you poured into me...it was as if I was in heaven on cloud nine. Lastly the intimate time we had after it all...it was magical, felt ethereal, as if it caressed my soul and made it at peace. I had the most wonderful rest last night to the point I slept pass my alarm this morning, almost late to your interview. To sum this all up, I just want to tell you that for the very first time in my life, I've felt the connection this strong with a woman...I know we've only spent a night with each other, but I'm asking...please, will you allow me to take you out to dinner? The day that everyone had been waiting for has finally arrived. Lewis’ birthday was celebrated a couple of days before; therefore the entire paddock was still on a high waiting for the Mercedes team principal and his partner’s celebration.

Walking into the house, the eruption of cheers and confetti's popping, startled the couple as they jumped back in surprise. “Happy Birthday!!” The team screamed, Lewis and George running up and spraying them in champagne, leaving them drenched. The music started and screams echoed through the house as everyone pulled a partner to the dance floor.

Throughout the night, food was being ate, dance battles going for rounds, conversation flowing, and drunken devotions made, and various pictures taken,the night was seen to be well spent.

The night coming to an end with the final dance, starring the birthday lady and gentleman. The song started off as everyone gathered around. “It’s our birthday schatzi” Toto whispered silently for her ears only. “I know old guy, let’s enjoy the time” his partner joked in response. “I want to, but I’m scared that Lewis will put on a song that I don't have the rhythm for” he stressed, visibly tensing.

Just as predicted, Lewis switched the song to a more intimate and soul combining song named ‘Tender’ by Patrice Robert as this made Toto's heart leap. “Just follow my lead using your hips as you feel my movements and follow along” she whispered softly to his ears as he slowly relaxed, paying close attention to the beat.

Stabilising himself, Toto made the effort to move along in meeting her at each whine and dip, synchronising into the perfect Caribbean dance routine to the Haitian song as the crowd around them cheered and screamed whenever he would perfectly execute a move.

As the song came to an end, everyone clapped, chanting for the couple to kiss. “C’mon, don’t ruin your party old man, just kiss the girl!!" Lewis shouted over the mic as Toto pulled his wife into a passionate, earthshaking kiss.

The party finally came to an end as everyone once again wished the birthday couple a happy birthday on their way through the exit. Almost two hours later, the house was finally cleaned, both Toto and his wife showered; now cuddled up in bed as they wished each other a happy birthday before falling out in a deep slumber.

Lewis and I have been dating since he was 16 and I was 15 years old. We came a long way as I juggled with supporting him with racing while focusing on my studies, as he tried his best to make it to Formula 1. Over the years, our relationship has been through a lot of milestones that almost ended everything; from me not being able to attend races to him not being able to be there for me when I needed him, yet we managed to pull through.

However, for the past few months, I have come to notice that he has become distant once more, but not just any normal distant; the distant when someone is no longer interested and is just going along with anything. I also noticed how my fingerprint for his phone was deleted so that I no longer had access to the contents and that he stops answering phone calls in my presence, even if it has to do with work. All this adds up to one answer: Another lover had entered the chat.

I stayed up at nights next to him staring off into the dark room as I try to find a calm way address the matter, yet no rational way of what came to mind wouldn't end in a screaming match between us. I cried silently as I watched him peacefully sleep, wishing he would hold me as he used to before she came along. I got up, grabbing my pillow and left for one of the guest rooms to sleep as I had promised to accompany him to his race tomorrow.

I then knew that she was the one who had taken him from me as I slowly walked towards his driver's room with Toto walking slowly behind me. "I'm sorry Y/n I kind of saw this coming, but I didn't expect it in this way" Toto said as he gave me a comforting hug. "It's okay, I knew this was happening, just not with whom. I'll forever love and support your team Mr. Wolff" I reassured him as I made my way towards the hospitality.

Two hours later, he was done with all the necessary post-race duties, He found me sitting and watching a cartoon. "Hey-" "How long has it been?" I asked cutting him off. he looked at me sadly as his head hung low. "I'm sorry, it's been going on for the past 10 months. I wanted to confess but I just couldn't, knowing it break you" he explained softly as tears started falling from his eyes. "You knew it would break me and yet the best way you could alert me of it was to have her pushing me down and swapping saliva with you in public before my very eyes?" I asked him calmly as I got up and stared into his eyes. "I get it that this is over now, but promise me that you would never treat any other woman the way you just did to me?" I asked and his tears started falling harder as he nodded speechlessly. I hugged him, inhaling his scent for the last time before placing a kiss to his cheek and walking away out of his life as I never made contact with him again. I went back to our previously shared home, picking up my already packed bags and made my way to the airport as I boarded my flight back to my home in the Caribbean, making sure that he never has any type of future contact with me.

The preparations for baby Sainz had been made and today was the day he decided to meet his parents. Y/n had been living with Carlos and Rebbeca for the past one month, wanting her to be close and that came in handy as her water broke this morning.

Carlos held her up as they slowly walked around to get her dilated while they waited for the midwife. Carlos Sr and Reyes went about setting up the bedroom where Y/n would give birth as Ana and Blanca made her a fruit bowl to keep some energy.

When the mid wife arrived and checked her over while Y/n complained of something sliding down to her opening, it was noted that she had been fully dilated and the baby's head was in her birth canal.

Y/n spent the next 5 hours alone in the bedroom with Carlos as she was moving all over the place, mostly in a squat trying to push. Carlos held her throughout the whole process, whispering encouraging words to her as they rocked while she beared down deep, finally getting their baby's head out. Carlos was so amazed as he kept rubbing the head that was obviously full of jet black hair.

After a few more minutes of rest they went back to the routine of pushing with the contractions and breaking when it stopped as they were instructed and with a few more pushes, the little Sainz slid right out into the palms of his father's hand with a healthy cried that was heard from the outside of the room where everyone else waited to give them privacy.

After an extra hour alone with their newborn, Carlos placed Y/n on the bed to rest as went out with their son to be introduced to his family. As soon as the new human was in sight everyone started gushing at how cute he was, yet no one was allowed to hold him due to the rule imposed that he would not be held by anyone but his parents until he was at least 4 months old.

"What are you both gonna name him?" Rebbeca asked quietly as she looked down at the infant in his daddy's arms. "We're not sure yet, I'm waiting for her to wake up and then we'll decide" Carlos responded not looking up from his baby. As I'd on cue, Y/n started shifting before her eyes fluttered open.

The night is very cold as the time was approaching Christmas, so everyone had to be covered up to keep warm. Lewis was able to be at home during the week to spend some time with Y/n and his daughter, Leah Hamilton; however he had to leave for the last few races of the season. The little Hamilton was very sad that her daddy was leaving again, but promised to still cheer for him while he was on the track.

It was a couple of minutes after 8pm when Lewis returned back to the apartment that was given to him for his stay while in Barcelona as he had some extra things to go over. He decided that since he was lonely from leaving Roscoe at home, he would call to speak with his family. Lewis retrieved the telephone from his pocket and clicked on his Y/n's number to start the facetime; however after a the call was answered he was surprised to see his daughter instead of his wife. "Hi daddy, how are you?!" Asked the fully-energized toddler. "Hi baby, daddy's doing great. How are you and where is mommy?" Lewis asked confused to why his wife was nowhere in sight. "Mommy went to the kitchen to clean up the dishes. Should I give her the phone?" The smart baby asked as her father nodded his head yes.

Little footsteps could be heard until a voice broke out "Leah, you can't be running on the tiles with socks. You'll fall and hurt yourself" Y/n softly spoke to her daughter as she lifts her onto the counter. "Sorry mommy, daddy is on the phone and he wanted to see you" the toddler explains as she showed her mommy the phone. "Hi babe, you look tired. Why are you out in the cold?" Y/n questioned her husband. "Yeah, I'm a bit tired. Just got back from the track and thought I'd check in to see how my beautiful family is doing" Lewis answered causing Y/n to blush. "Well Sir Lewis, if I must have you know, your family is doing quite fine just sad because we miss you being here with us" She replied making a smile appear on his face.

"Daddy, when are you coming home?" Leah asked sadly as she took the phone from her mother's hand. "Why are you asking pumpkin?" Lewis asked suspiciously as she had never asked that particular question before. "I just wanna see you. You go away very quickly after coming home and we don't have enough time for bedtime stories or cuddles anymore cause you are never at home. Daddy, do you love me?" The toddler asked on the verge of tears, shocking both parents as the baby had never mentioned feeling this way before. "Of course I love you Lele, you're my daughter. As you know I have to work to be able to take care you and mommy so I'm away a lot which is why when I'm at home, I try to spend as much time with you as possible. Please don't doubt my love for you my baby. I love you with all my life" Lewis explained as his heart was breaking at the words he heard.

"Tell you what, daddy doesn't have work tomorrow so how about you both stay on the phone until you fall asleep. He can read you a bedtime story and you both can talk about your day at school and your drawings yeah?" Y/n suggested making the toddler become excited. Throughout the time, Leah showed her daddy some pictures she drew and painted in class as they spoke about the meanings behind them, then they talked about her new teddy that grandpa Anthony gave her and what she named it. Eventually things winded down as Leah was put into her crib with the phone because Lewis wanted to speak with his baby before she fell asleep. "Leah, I want to let you know that I love you very much and I know it's hard for you to understand now that I'm away most of the time but I promise you that you and your mommy are always on my mind. I wish I could take you with me everywhere I go but that is impossible due to you having school. I want you to know that no matter where in the world I am from home, my heart is always with you. Daddy will always be here ok?" He asked as he daughter nodded her head in response. They moved onto the bedtime story where Lewis read until Leah fell asleep when Y/n came to get the phone.

"She really needed that talk." Y/n said as she walked towards her bedroom. "Yeah I know. I'll be coming home on a three hours flight tomorrow for the Christmas break. So we'll be spending a lot of ime together with her alright?" Lewis responded as Y/n became excited to have her husband back home. "Yeah, I'll make sure to keep the secret. I love you Lew" Y/n said as Lewis replied "I love you too Y/n/n" before the call ended. This specific night, Lewis went to sleep feeling jittery at the mere thought of reuniting with his family.
