Okay, long time no see!! I’ve been way more active writing fics on my side blog.
Life has been good lately, It’s spring and I’m back on the dating scene, let me tell you how that’s going.
I went out with my friends a couple weeks ago and met a really cute french man on the smoking outside a bar. We talked and he came to the club with us, he was so sweet and smart, made my friends feel included in the conversation and stuff.
We kissed and he gave me his number when he walked us to the train station; we’ve been texting.
Is this a safe space to say he’s 40?
Anyway, I went on a date on friday with a guy I met on hinge, he’s 21. He’s an engineer and pretty cute, but I don’t know if I like him too much.
Apart from that, my creative writing classes are going so well, the teacher praises my work a lot, I love it.
I’ve got an essay coming up soon on a lit mag on Substack, will share it when it’s out.
Last week I saw my best friend’s musical, she was Tanya in mamma mia. It was wonderful, I love her so much.

I FINISHED MY EXAMS!!! AND I PASSED EVERY CLASS!!! I did get some grades that I am not too proud of, but overall I am doing a lot better than I was doing this time last year.
since I don't have exams I have a lot more free time on afternoons and weekends, I have been reading a lot lately, also watching TV and sleeping, overall just relaxing.
Also, the weather is changing and it is colder now, I can wear sweaters :)

Happy holidays, hope your christmas was amazing!
I am just delighted because I got to see family and friends.
I also am happy because I got a new Didion book, and I am devouring it.
I haven't gone skiing yet and I oh so miss it, but there's barely any snow around here, so I'll have to wait or travel.
I'm going to spend a couple days at my house in the south of france and I haven't even started packing my bags yet, I guess I'll do it last minute.

How did your first day go?
Omg, quite well, actually! I mean I'm having trouble with the whole meeting people thing, but I'm already in my class's groupchat, so that's good. I was a bit lonely, but nothing I couldn't take. The humanities faculty building is beautiful, but the classes are old and kind of uncomfortable. Thanks for asking!! 🫶🏻

Catalina staggered out of the upstairs bathroom and down the corridor to Zaira’s old room. She could make out the outline of a man coming up the stairs, but she couldn’t see his face due to the direct sunlight, and maybe to the panic attack she was currently having.
