Just for the record David Gaider said that Cullen is straight because it fit his character, not that it was cut because of time restraints.

Cullen is a thirty year old straight man.  Period.  That’s from the Voice of God.  If you want to think otherwise you are completely allowed but don’t go claiming it’s canon when it isn’t.  I personally am annoyed that you can’t romance Cullen if you’re Qunari but it makes sense because of his history and I’m not going to stick my fingers in my ears and change FACT because I don’t like it.  I’m going to write what I like because I can and not try to force it down other people’s throats.
