The older you get, the more you realize that none of us are easy to be with. We all carry burdens, anxieties, past traumas, insecurities and fears. The process of growing and becoming is inherently messy and complicated; it’s simply human. The goal isn’t to find someone without baggage, such a person doesn’t exist but rather to find someone willing to carry that baggage alongside you. Genuine love, friendship, and connection is not about ease, they’re about choosing each other, imperfections and all. It’s about creating a safe space where both individuals can be unapologetically human. We’re all works in progress and that’s okay. Our connection is not defined by perfection but by our shared imperfections, struggles, and humanity. The cracks in our armour don’t make us weak, they make us real, and it is in this authenticity that true connection begins.
