there’s just something so poetic about how jayce is stuck in the crevice and is forced to drink the dirty water from the fissures that viktor grew up drinking and made viktor sick. about how in falling down into the crevice jayce gains a foot injury and needs to engineer a brace for himself so he can slowly and painstakingly climb his way out of that crevice. then he has to make the trek to the center of the city and to the hexgates and it’s also so *chefs kiss* like it perfectly paralleled viktor’s path

adventure time slang is weird cuz like. when you first watch the show and hear the slang you're like "oh this is cringy slang but its not like awful" but it gets to a point where the voice actors deliver the slang so naturally you don't even notice it and its just. part of the world's vernacular. I can't think of any other show that's done in-universe slang like this

Hello, my name is Ashraf Safi. I am 47 years old and living under constant bombardment in Gaza, where we are trying to survive amidst continuous death and loss. I have lost many family members, including the home that once sheltered us. We have been forced to move repeatedly from place to place in search of safety, despite knowing that there is no truly safe place.

I am an engineer and an academic lecturer, with a family consisting of two children. However, the ongoing war here has destroyed everything. I lost my job at the university after it was bombed, and life has become difficult and full of challenges. I had many hopes and dreams, but the situation has become tragic, with no food or medicine, and no means for a normal life. We have suffered from various diseases such as hepatitis and malnutrition due to the lack of a suitable living environment. Even if we try to repair our home, the siege and dangers surround us.

We live in constant fear, and our lives are in continuous danger. Therefore, I hope you can help us, even if just a little, as this will help us reach safety with my family, away from death and destruction.
