top 4 hated guys at sp high school
literally one piece
its one of the most emotional deep media we have out there, exploring all the nuances and contradictions of human interactions and dynamics, diving DEEP on connection and relationships
not one of the main relationships explored is romantic. ALL OF THEM ARE EITHER PLATONIC OR FRATERNAL!!! AND IT SHOWS HOW DEEPLY IMPORTANT THIS RELATIONS ARE!!!
(i know in whole cake island we really get to know pudding and sanji but the main thread of the arc is FAMILY so really i can get past that disaster. also it constantly points out how romance IS NOT the ultra form of love, romance is NOT what guide sanji after all and hes the arguably most romantic character. one piece teaches us all kinds of love are as meaningful if not more than romance)
god i just love it when a story treats a completely platonic relationship with the same level of narrative importance as if it were a romantic relationship
LIKE YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! Platonic bonds are just as if not even more important than romantic bonds!!! LIKE YES A FRIENDSHIP CAN BE LOVE STORY AND THAT CAN NOT BE CONTRADICTORY STATEMENT TO SAY!!!
"i lacked the courage to die for my ideals, and it wont happen again."
c!Techno’s character arc is not about changing his ideals, but slowly becoming better at them, and it’s not something you see much in storytelling, especially in characters with defined political ideologies. It’s awesome, unique, and honestly? Really freaking valuable.
Rule 63 The Big Bang Theory because of this damn post ‘-‘
Now I want this to happen
faces and TCO original meme under the cut <3:
i have a thing for disfunctional found families that are literally soulmates i swear to god
main 4 are SO interesting like. they make each other life's arguably worse but they would be EVEN MORE BAD without each other. like. they can’t tell when one ends and the other begins, they are four best friends that everyone hates and yet have the power to do literally anything they want.
that lice episode that the whole time they are pointing at each other's actions and saying "that's EXACTLY what you would do if you have lice" and in the end they all have lice. they know each other so much fuck them
point is. i love the south park main four
The main four SP boys are so funny and i wish more people appreciated how funny the dynamic and history between specifically the four of them are.
They're the coolest kids in school and everyone wanted to be their friend. No one likes them. When one died (semi)permanently, they ran a The Bachelor-type contest to pick a new bestie. They forced a kid to dress like their dead friend. The vibes were still off though so the dead kid came back. They're eight years old. They're ten years old. They're 9 years old. One of them has an alcohol addiction and depression. They've all seen each other naked. When one of them got herpes, he immediately passed it to the other three. These two things are unrelated. Three of them know the other is a psychopath who will kill people who get in his way and they're just like "wtvr". They hate each other more than anything. They cannot stop being best friends or it'll ruin the future of America. They would kill or die for each other. At 50 years old they still have hissy fits like children out in public over an argument none of them even remembers having. They're obsessed with each other. One of them gave another AIDS. They make each other so much worse for being involved in their lives. There is no low any of them could stoop to that the others would find it impossible to be their friend still.
When Chef said that they're friends "whether you like [each other] or not" he wasn't kidding. Its literally inescapable and thats so funny to their dynamic, why would you ever try to change that lol.
I think it would be a lot of fun if Rick were forced to help Birdperson raise his daughter one way or the other.
The boys personalities, as told by the boys themselves
OH MY GOD on the toxic episode in season 3, when toxic morty is dying toxic rick says "GRANDPA'S HERE"
does he consider this subconsciously desire to be morty's granpa a toxic trait? does he secretly wants to be a source of comfort for morty? does he?!?!?!?!?
y’know, now that I’m thinking about it… Morty rlly never has called Rick “Grandpa Rick” before, has he? The closest we have is season 6 ep 1 which is admittedly very nearly the same thing lol, and then we have cop morty actually calling cop rick it. but idk, I just feel like Morty calling Rick by the actual title rather than just confirming he has it would hit specifically me very differently. like, god, ow. just thinking about morty being like “grandpa rick! grandpa rick!” makes me angst tbh. would rick himself have a reaction to it, considering how he kinda had one when morty told him straight up rick was his grandpa to him? does rick…. even kinda wish morty would call him that, or even just call him it more? does rick subconsciously refer to himself as “grandpa” in the third person to try and insert the idea in mortys head??? his drunken sappy and emotional thoughts had to have gone this way at least once like cmonnnn
A spooky rpg??? In MY south park??? (Pixel art is fun)
Part 2 here!
someone said "im a sanami shipper in a queer way" and i related to that in a spiritual level
