A mom helping her kids beat a hard level in Super Mario Land, 1990s
Ok first off i love the way u drew tdcfdtl like literally amazing. Second do u got any dcfdtl angst hcs? I would love to cry about them :D (if not thats cool :>)
Oh boy oh boy oh boy
You are in for a treat my friend
Of course I cannot go through any hyperfixation without traumatizing every reoccurring character ‼️
Methinks the Delightfuls could technically do things on their own, and they truly don't want to be doing any of the things they did in the show, but they do it because of their fear of Father. He has complete control over them. If they refuse, he lights them on fire and only extinguishes them when he hears an apology. They know he'd let them die if they were to just, not apologize, or if they were to do something against his wishes.
They have burn marks all over their bodies and David (who usually steps in front of Bruce and Connie to protect them) has such bad burns that most of his torso is beyond healing.
After the events of ZERO, Hoagie and Kuki (both being abuse victims) noticed the burns and their way of acting at some point and they'll occasionally sneak small gifts into their mansion for them, stuff Father won't take away from them that will make them feel happy. They don't usually get the chance to be happy.
They sleep in a very specific pile to insure they don't hurt each other on accident by making contact with one of the other's burn marks. Lenny suffers from an unknown chronic pain disability, leftover from his original self, that causes the burns to feel much more painful than normal. It's so bad that when contact is made with a burn mark, he screams in agony (of course, it's technically all of them that scream, but he's the one provoking it). The others work to protect him specifically from this pain by staying in front of him so that he's completely covered from the neck down. The helmet he wears protects his facial burns.
They speak to each other in their heads when they're alone. Father doesn't like it when they speak to each other out loud, so they do it in their minds. They have very personal conversations with each other. Ones that Father would beat the shit outta them for. Things like how they feel about themselves, how they feel about their situation, and how much pain they're in. The conversations are mostly tame, usually just about their interests that Father allows them to have, but there are times where they get far too close to crying from how deep the conversations can get. Doesn't help that there's already constant reminders of how stuck they are and how they'll never escape their living conditions.

A friend of mine wanted to cosplay Sylveon for an upcoming convention we were attending and asked for my help. As I love making cosplay props and helping others, I worked on making the ears for her and photographed the process for this tutorial to help others. This tutorial ended up a bit longer than expected so bear with me :)
What you’ll need:
- Craft foam: I had about three sheets lying around that were $1 each and I bought a huge roll at Michael’s for $8
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun and a lot of refill sticks
- Pen and Pencil
- Acrylic Paint: You’ll need white, pink, two types of blues (a lighter one and a medium one), and a light teal/seafoam.
- Three Pieces of Sandpaper: I believe mine were a 75, a 100, and a 150
- Headband: I recommend the stiff kind that is covered in fabric. You can buy a three pack at Walmart for about $4
The Process:
Step One: Pattern Making
The first thing you need to do is draw out your pattern with pencil on paper. I just Googled a picture of Sylveon and used that as my reference picture. Once you have it drawn, cut out the pattern.
Step Two: Making the Foam Shapes
Now you’re going to trace your pattern onto the craft foam with a ballpoint pen (pencil tends to tear the foam). You’ll need: two of the little hair piece, four of the full ears, and two of the full ears with the center cut out. After you have outlined all of your pieces, cut them out of the foam. I trimmed along the sharp edges of the back of the piece on the bottom of each stack in the second picture, the front of the top piece, and the front of one hair piece and the back of the other to round out all of the edges for sanding.
Step Three: Gluing
I don’t have a picture for this step, but it’s easy to understand. You need to take your hot glue and glue together the two full ear pieces with the rounded edge at the back and glue the two hair pieces so the rounded edges face out. A word of caution: foam can warp with the heat of the glue gun so just try and smooth it out the best you can.
Step Four: Sanding
Now you’re going to sand all of the edges that you rounded before. BE CAREFUL! The sandpaper (especially the roughest) will tear the foam, so sand lightly. Start with your roughest (the smallest number) and then use the middle size and then finish with the smoothest paper.
Step Five: Paint it Pink
You’re going to paint the very front and sides of the ear (the two pieces with the center cut out on the right) and the back and sides of the two pieces you glued together earlier. You’ll also paint both sides of the little hair piece. Leave the front of the glued pieces blank, you’ll be painting them later. Also, foam tends to absorb the paint so it will take quite a few layers to cover the foam fully. I think I used about six layers. Let this paint dry.
Step Six: Painting the Blue
For this step, I mixed a medium blue and a light blue until I was happy with how it matched Sylveon. This will be the “inside” of the ear. Most of this will be covered by the front piece so don’t worry about having perfect edges while you’re painting. Let this dry before you move on.
Step Seven: Some More Gluing
First off, I apologize for the terribly picture quality, the lighting wasn’t great so the picture came out a bit orange. For this step, you’re going to glue the front piece over what you just painted blue. Again, the foam will slightly warp with the heat and stay that way once it’s cooled so work fast to smooth it out.
Step Eight: Bow and Ribbons
Now you’re going to make a pattern and cut out the bow and ribbons (ribbons not pictured). For these you only need one layer, so you’ll end up with one foam bow and two foam ribbons. The center of the bow matches the pink of the ear and the stripes on the ribbons are light teal/seafoam, blue that matches the inner ear, and pink.
Step Nine: Assembly
Finally, you’re going to hot glue everything together. The bow is glued to the left ear with a little space left on the sides to slide the end of the ribbon under. The ears are then glued to the headband. I positioned them similar to how I saw them pictured when I was Googling reference pictures. Last but not least, slide the end of each ribbon under the bow and position to your liking. As you can see, I wrapped one up around the right ear and glued and the other is just slightly folded and glued to the side of the headband.
Now you’re done! I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial, have fun with your new Sylveon ears!
I will be posting better pictures of the set of ears soon, I just need to touch up the paint in places because the pen is showing through.
A silly thing that @draconicsparkle and I wrote together for fun. Nagizuru but he's an SCP. Please enjoy.
...
It had started out as a typical day. Well, typical for this place. The SCP Foundation’s bases tended to have bizarre occurances on a daily basis.
But still, it could be relatively routine at times. And it had been shaping up to be that kind of day again. The morning and afternoon had been fine, Hajime keeping SCP-4673 company. It wasn’t hard at all. It mostly consisted of him simply being in the same room as the entity. Though there were moments of physical contact. But not enough to be annoying.
But the evening rolled around, and the two shared the consensus of not wanting to make dinner themselves. So they elected to visit the staff cafeteria. They did this on their lazy nights. So there wasn’t too much panic when Nagizuru teleported them into the room.
“Thank you. Now, let’s see what they have. Want me to grab you something while you get a table?” Hajime asked as he stepped away from the white haired man.
The always present smile widened. “That is a suitable delegation of tasks. Very well. Return to my side as swiftly as you can.” Then he disappeared. Hajime turned to get in line, ignoring the startled shouts of some of the staff who clearly hadn’t expected the Apollyon class monster to appear near them. His sudden teleportation caused some overhead light bulbs to explode, slamming into some unfortunate people in line. The shards completely dodged Hajime, who seemed unaffected by the situation. "Keep that thing away from us, will you?" someone in line yelled. Hajime had to hold back the urge to punch the guy.
Putting that temporarily out of his mind, he accepted two plates of tonight’s dinner. Large bowls of fried rice. The scent was mouthwatering and he found himself excited. He hadn’t had this in several years.
So he quickly walked over to the table Nagizuru had chosen. It was a small one near the back, away from everyone else. Not unusual, as the SCP enjoyed having all of the brunette’s attention on him.
He placed the bowls down on the table with the silverware, pulling his seat in and grabbing a fork. “It smells really good. I might even get seconds.”
He scooped up some with his fork and lifted the steaming food to his mouth. But before he was able to take the bite, he noticed the man across from him. His hair was writhing, as if it was alive. And he was glaring at the bowl in front of him. Hajime sighed and put the fork back down. “And what is the matter?”
Nagizuru glanced up at him before returning to stare at the food. “Rice… and peas.”
Hearing the displeased tone, Hajime groaned. “Again with this? Grow up and just eat them. It’s not like you are allergic or anything.”
Nagizuru’s smile was clearly more of a grimace now. “I refuse. You shouldn’t force yourself to eat repulsive food groups such as these. I shall change it for us.”
The SCP reached for the food, fingertips making contact with it. But Hajime grabbed his bowl and pulled it closer to himself. “Get off! This is mine. And I’m gonna enjoy it. Now you eat yours!”
Nagizuru let out a growl, accompanied by the sound of crackling. The pale limbs began to elongate and the entity’s form also started increasing in scale. In addition, the white hair grew longer and longer.
Several members of the foundation screamed or shouted in fear and the sound of tables and chairs being pushed away or falling were audible. Most of the people were terrified of the creature in front of them and they ran out of the room.
But not Hajime. He didn’t even bat an eye, just returning his attention to his food and picking up the fork. “Throwing a tantrum because you don’t want to eat certain things? How mature.” Hajime started eating his food, as if nothing was amiss. “Return to normal. You are surely breaking things,” he said with his mouth full of peas.
“I will not,” the SCP stated in a voice that sounded layered by dozens of others. He rearranged himself so that his body was more comfortable with the increasing size.
But the creature’s sudden growth pushed over the table they had been sitting at, both bowls of the fried rice falling and splattering onto the floor.
The sight of the food on the ground made Hajime’s patience snap. “Fine. I won’t push it anymore.” But before Nagizuru could feel any sort of victory, he turned around and began walking back to the kitchen area. “However, I intend to enjoy this meal. So I shall get another portion and go find somewhere else to eat it. Away from you so I won't have to put up with your whining.”
“What?” the distorted voice asked in a panicked tone.
Hajime raised his eyebrows with a smirk. “Until you behave and fix everything you broke, I won't talk to you. AND you will need to eat the fried rice.”
He felt something clutch onto his midsection, pulling him back towards the sea of white hair. He could barely see a giant red eye peering down at him, looking far more resigned than defiant. “Okay… I’ll fix everything. And I’ll try it. So don’t leave me. Please?”
Rolling his eyes, he nodded. “Deal.” He looked back to see stunned faces staring at them, peeking through the window door. He shrugged and said:
He poked the face hidden under the white hair. “And stubborn. Now go back to how you normally are, okay? Can you do that for me?” He made sure to ask these questions in a soft tone, knowing that Nagizuru was not able to resist requests when he talked like this.
“Alright,” the SCP said, body shrinking back to how he usually appeared. Once fully human-like again, he embraced the brunette. “I’ll do anything for you, Hajime. Even… eat rice and peas.”
Hajime pet the head in a comforting way. “Good. That’s what I like to hear. Now let’s fix this room back up.”
A whooshing sound occured and all the tables, chairs, and spilled food was back in perfect condition. Hajime rewarded this with a hug of his own. “Thank you.” He separated and pointed to the chair. “Now, let’s have a less chaotic meal. No more shenanigans.”
“No more shenanigans". Nagizuru repeated.
Hajime sat down and picked up his fork, the entity copying him seconds after. Before taking his first bite, he looked at Hajime's eyes with his usual smile, now looking amused.
“… for now.”
