This is so gorgeous and emotional and dramatic! I haven’t watched the Netflix finale yet--I guess I’m saving it for a little bit--but I’ll never forget all the feels I felt reading the beach scene in The End, back before “feels” was even a thing people said. This song beautifully captures all of those emotions and gives me plenty of its own. I’m pretty sure it gave me goosebumps although I admit it is also a bit chilly in here. But the emotion in the lyrics and the singer’s voice are certainly goosebump-worthy!

Also, FYI, the volume is fine on my end. It sounds lovely!

Edit: I realize now that I was using my cheap headphones when I wrote this; they’re not great headphones and so I always have to turn the volume up on things to compensate. I just didn’t realize that I wasn’t turning the volume up for this song. So, yes, the volume is indeed loud. It’s not hard to deal with though, and this is still a gorgeous song. I was listening to it on repeat at work the other day.

I think it’s best to listent to it at low volume because I still can’t use garage band properly and the volumes are wrong 

Kit and Olaf love story was my insipiration for this song, they are one of my first ship and it felt like a nice way to honor it.

My gosh, the quality of fanart never ceases to amaze me! His eyes are so pretty and the lighting is beautifully done, and beyond that, it does a great job of capturing Klaus’s emotions; the whole thing just aches. 

I’m really glad Netflix recommended Umbrella Academy to us. I’d never heard of it before, but it was definitely an interesting story and it’s always fun to happen on to something good right as it becomes popular! I mean, I love a good niche interest, too, but like, it’s just more convenient when a bunch of people are interested in the same thing at the same time. Fandom will also help with the all-too-long wait for season 2...

‘Klaus’ from The Umbrella Academy Just finished the season and so far he’s my favourite.

I watched 2x14 of the Originals tonight and when Klaus told all the assembled werewolves at Hayley's wedding that Hope was still alive after killing his own father just for finding out the very same thing a mere handful of episodes ago, it made me think of this moment in this Studio C sketch -- "she knew, so naturally, she had to be taken care of! Of course, I didn't realize I'd be revealing that secret myself just a few hours later, but at the time it seemed very important to keep her quiet." Like. I guess I get his reasoning and can sort of see why it changed. But for a guy who killed the biological father he'd been so curious about just a few days ago to keep his secret, he sure did just announce that same dang secret to a roomful of strangers. If I was his biodad hanging out on the Other Side (or wait I think maybe that's gone by now? But if it was still there) I'd be trying my darndest to slap that idiot upside the head for that.

I sat "nice try, giant worms" as my main screen and it makes me smile and chuckle every time I open my phone :) 

The general WTNV one is my lockscreen and it’s also lovely. I do love that Night Vale’s official color is purple (I have a fondness for purple if you hadn’t guessed) and of course, purple is even better with stars :)

My gosh this is so beautiful! It does an excellent job of echoing the videos’ color palette while still creating its own vibe, and I just love how soft yet realistic the drawing style is.

I love how art can inspire other art. And man, those music videos were a ride. I wish they hadn’t killed off those characters after just two music videos; they were pretty compelling and it would’ve been cool to see more stories from them. But they sure can tell a story. 

Which, speaking of, it was interesting to see the elements that were reminiscent of Umbrella Academy in those storylines. I also watched a video about the struggles Gerard went through in the earlier days and I have a deeper appreciation for the connection he must have with Klaus. It’s fascinating to string all of this together. 

But yes I have many feelings for this gorgeous Party Poison <3

D’aaw :) I love how Spicy Watson’s art always has such lovely bright colors. It’s really such a pretty art style. Also: overly formally dressed baby children. Plus, all of the family feels :) Very sweet.

Which further feeds my headcanon that these things are happening in the same desert, or perhaps that Danger Days takes place in the desert otherworld...
