alex: likes a lot of stuff, but typically goes for louder/more aggressive music. punk rock, metal, riotgrrrl, that's her shit. sucker for early paramore.

michael: tended to lean towards lighter stuff than alex, but they did share a few favorites. he'd always go to concerts with her even if it hurt his ears.

ren: shoegaze, obscure indie shit nobody will let him play, hyperpop. also, alex makes him listen to all her faves [he does the same to her, and both of them are starting to like the other's taste but won't admit it yet]

clarissa: doesn't really listen to music [a crime] but alex probably forces her into mitski and sir chloe at some point and she falls in love

nona: bedroom/indie pop, taylor swift

jonas: weezer stan (derogatory)

massive brain headcanon: japanese is alexs first language and rens picked up enough from her that they can have casual conversations while speaking it. they constantly exploit this to gossip without anyone knowing what theyre talking about. this drives jonas insane
