So I read a fanfic that has changed me (lightheartedly/laughing) It’s by @pain-del-doge and it’s called Empire Moths. And then I went and made a 58 slide powerpoint on it, which is also the first time I’ve ever done something like that for a fic and a testament to you know, how super normal I am (lying).

THIS IS GONNA HAVE SPOILERS FOR THE FIC. YOU SHOULD LOOK AT THIS AND THE FIC. Maybe at the same time. Maybe the fic first, then this. Who knows, I’m not the boss of you. This is gonna be a multi-part reblog of the screenshots, and each is numbered on their file for ease of that.

In which Kamek fully knows the single parent struggle! o3o

FUNFACTS:

-Bowser’s parents are perfectly fine and are, in fact, alive, they’re just bad parents. And bad rulers for that matter. Kamek is largely the reason why the Koopa Kingdom didn’t fall to ruin under their reign since he basically ran the kingdom himself as much as his rank would allow. When Bowser (then later Bowsette) was born, Kamek swore to himself to raise the kids to the best of his ability.

-Bowser was a very mischievous and adventurous child, always getting into things he wasn’t supposed to! Kamek had a hard time keeping up with him most days and would often refer to several books on how to rear children for advice. His favorite is “Child Raising for Imbeciles”, a book series written by old friend Toadsworth.

-Bowser owes a lot of his ability to rule and overall standing in life to Kamek. In fact, he straight-up sees Kamek as his dad, and he calls him “Ba”. His blood parents can barely get him to call them “Mother” or “Father”, as he often uses their actual names instead; he doesn’t really like either of them to be frank.
