In Which Diversity Isn't A Myth

In Which Diversity Isn't a Myth

Ok. I’m tired of the typical vampire, werewolf and fairy.I’m also tired of the occidental-centrism in mythology. Hence, this list.

I tried to included as many cultural variants as I could find and think of. (Unfortunately, I was restricted by language. Some Russian creatures looked very interesting but I don’t speak Russian…) Please, add creatures from your culture when reblogguing (if not already present). It took me a while to gather all those sites but I know it could be more expansive. I intend on periodically editing this list.

Of note: I did not include specific legendary creatures (Merlin, Pegasus, ect), gods/goddesses/deities and heroes.

I’d rather read a polished, well loved piece at thirty pages, than read something exhausted and necessary and altogether pretentious at seven hundred pages.

Many people misspell common words, mix up similarly spelled words, or use the wrong form of “there”. For them, this is not a problem because we can understand what our friends and family mean to say in e-mails or other correspondence. If you are in business, however, you cannot afford to make simple mistakes. Common grammar mistakes that make you look unprofessional can cost you customers or even help put you out of business.

Here are some of the most common mistakes. If you avoid these on your website and business materials, you will stand out to potential new customers.
