another low-res wip of the leyendecker study I’m working on but this time it’s napoleon
I’ve been so busy these pasts weeks with a big project finishing up at work and also being in three different countries in the past week but I’ve finally got some time to work on this again :)
I’ll probably finish this study soon so I’m looking forward to that :D
Somewhere, sometime, in a safehouse…
Illya is trying very hard not to move and also having an identity crisis about why the others would trust him to sleep on 🙂↕️🙂↕️
This, but exactly the other way around!
Drawing comes so naturally to me, I know how a thing looks so I just draw the thing. If there’s something wrong with it you can easily pin-point it as an anatomical or perspective issue.
With writing it’s just so abstract, I write words and for some inexplicable reason they feel clumsy or inelegant or don’t transport the feeling I’d want them too. Being a writer is such an incomprehensible skill to me, shout-out to all of you!
one thing i love about being a writer is that you can literally make the words happen; like all u gotta do is tap the keyboard and it'll be done
w art i struggle so much because the vision is more detailed in my head and my brain literally turns into paste when im trying to execute the idea bc im imagining the art at a higher skill level than i can actually do smh
idk how to add (?) to a post or reply to tags but I’m so happy that some of u are enjoying my lil drawing :,) glad that I decided to post this thing I made in class like 2yrs ago
illya is just a clingy sad puppy

Summary:
A mission gone wrong lands the team in the winter-stricken woods of Finland, stranded in the snow until the weather lets up. Illya tries to help lighten the mood.
Excerpt:
“Gaby, I'm thankful,” Solo hissed through his teeth as he was jolted forward, “But this isn't the smartest move.” “Maybe not,” she hummed in faux consideration, “But it just felt like the right thing to do.” Solo groaned at the parroting of his own words, and Illya's voice only shook a little when he teased gently, “You had that coming, Cowboy.” “Just hurry,” Solo huffed, though the affection in his tone was unmistakable.
