Probably one of the greatest mysteries of life.
The 200 yd shoot house.
My daughter called me this week because she heard that there would be an ICE raid in her town. This was a problem because her neighbors, and her 6 year-old's best friend are Hispanic. She wanted my advice as to what she could do. She said that she had thought of having them stay with her until "the danger" had passed. Please understand that all in this family are citizens of the US, but other persons in their community are are pointing fingers at any persons of color claiming that they "may be illegal". She said that if worse came to worst she could hide them in her basement. When we finished I realized that our country was now reliving "The Diary of Anne Frank". And no one seems to see the problem with this.
This tells a story. Expectation. Anticipation. Eventual Exhilaration. I want to be who she's waiting for.

And then something invisible snapped insider her, and that which had come together commenced to fall apart.
