How are you doing this weekend?
“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.”
— Dalai Lama
You have great taste and style
Nature always, ALWAYS, amazes and humbles me.
A small Japanese puffer fish is the creator of one of the most spectacular animal-made structures. To impress the female puffer fish, the male labors 24 hours a day for a week to create a pattern in the sand. If the female finds his work satisfactory, she allows him to fertilize her eggs. She then lays them in the middle of the circle, leaving the male to guard the eggs alone.
Life Story (2014)
The total opposite feeling from the previous post. This is where my heart is.
“The cost of not following your heart is spending the rest of your life wishing you had.”

My daughter called me this week because she heard that there would be an ICE raid in her town. This was a problem because her neighbors, and her 6 year-old's best friend are Hispanic. She wanted my advice as to what she could do. She said that she had thought of having them stay with her until "the danger" had passed. Please understand that all in this family are citizens of the US, but other persons in their community are are pointing fingers at any persons of color claiming that they "may be illegal". She said that if worse came to worst she could hide them in her basement. When we finished I realized that our country was now reliving "The Diary of Anne Frank". And no one seems to see the problem with this.
A poem to the past.
Very true. But. . . So very hard to do.
you can’t make someone care, or act right, or miss you, or want you, or regret the way they acted, or be ready for you, or realise you’re worth it, but what you can and should do is just completely remove yourself from the situation, make yourself unavailable to them & move on
